En smakelijk was het, van de interessante taallessen 's ochtends (ook voor mensen op hoog niveau valt er nog veel te leren) tot de wijnproeverijen en kookcursussen 's middags. We maakten de lekkerste pasta's, panzanella, cantuccini en torta della nonna en mochten er naderhand ook lekker van genieten. Het enige nadeel: na deze cursus moet je echt even op dieet - maar dat is elke hap meer dan waard! In July I took the Siena con Gusto, Siena with Taste course at Scuola Leonardo da Vinci. And it was tasty, from the interesting language lessons in the morning (there is still a lot to learn for high-level people) to the wine tastings and cooking courses in the afternoon. We made the tastiest pasta, panzanella, cantuccini and torta della nonna and were able to enjoy it afterwards. The only drawback: after this course you really have to go on a diet - but that is more than worth every bite!

The course is excellent. The teachers are very competent and helpful. The atmosphere is very friendly and relaxed. Thus it is very easy to make great progress in improving one's knowledge without feeling any strain or pressure. I have learned more than I could imagine for such a short period of time. Siena is a marvelous place in which history is not just museum artifacts but a vibrant spirit in the streets and the people are very hospitable and proud of their city. I highly recommend the course at Scuola Leonardo da Vinci in Siena! The experience is unique!

I looked over various reviews for an Italian language school in Siena and decided to go with Scuola Leonardo da Vinci. I was thrilled to have chosen them as they offered 2 week classes that met my time constraints for how long I was going to be in the country. The methods are effective and I truly enjoyed my Italian classes.

The group class is from 9:00 to 12:30, Monday to Friday. Each class has about 3 to 6 people, everyone can have enough time to practice and participate in the course. In summer, a class can be up to about 10 people. The school arranges different extracurricular activities every week, including aperitivo, Siena's historical monuments, and sightseeing tours, which are a great way to help you get to know the beauty of Siena and other cities around Toscany. The school's curriculum is very interesting and not rigid, you can arrenge your study period according to your needs. Students will be assigned according to their degree, new students will join each week. I've met many friends from different countries here and we learned from each other's cultures and lifestyles by speaking italian, I'm like a family member with my teachers here. These memories are my wonderful treasures. If you want to learn Italian and appreciate the beauty of Italian culture, I suggest you choose this school.

We are each at different levels in Italian and were placed in classes that were perfect for our abilities. The teachers integrated us seamlessly into classes with other students who were there for one-week, two-week and longer programs. We also took private lessons on top of the immersion classes which were very helpful. All of the teachers are very talented and engaging and the staff are gracious, welcoming and helpful. The school organizes optional afternoon activities around Siena and the surrounding area which we also took advantage of. We hope to return and continue improving our Italian at the Scuola Leonardo da Vinci in Siena and will definitely keep in touch with our teachers there.
