★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La Scuola di musica della Civica Orchestra di Fiati "G. Verdi" - Città di Trieste ha radici profonde che si rifanno a più di 90 anni di concerti e concorsi dell’orchestra e di 30 anni di attività della scuola nel campo dell’insegnamento.
Nata inizialmente per creare nuovi talenti da inserire nell’organico dell’orchestra, la scuola di musica ha poi ampliato la propria offerta formativa includendo tra i corsi anche strumenti non a fiato e corsi collettivi per i bambini anche molto piccoli.
La scuola oggi si prefigge come obiettivo la divulgazione della grande arte della musica mediante l’importante esperienza umana e artistica dell’approccio a uno strumento. Per rendere completa l’esperienza, la scuola di musica organizza, oltre ai due saggi istituzionali a Natale e a fine anno scolastico, anche delle esibizioni degli allievi a manifestazioni cittadine come “Trieste nel mio cuore” al Teatro Rossetti o anche come ospiti presso case di riposo della città o durante i concerti estivi della Civica Orchestra di fiati “G. Verdi” – Città di Trieste presso Piazza Unità d’Italia o al Castello di San Giusto.
Il metodo di insegnamento da parte dei docenti si basa sullo sviluppo di un percorso personalizzato, considerando l’età e le ambizioni del singolo alunno; è improntato alla creazione di un rapporto speciale con la musica, dando all'allievo la possibilità di condividere la medesima passione con nuovi amici e approfondire allo stesso tempo la conoscenza di se stessi.
 The Music School of the Civic Wind Orchestra "G. Verdi" - City of Trieste has deep roots that go back more than 90 years of concerts and orchestra competitions and 30 years of school activity in the teaching field.
Initially created to create new talents to be included in the orchestra, the music school then expanded its educational offerings to include non-wind instruments and group courses for even very small children.
The school today sets itself the goal of spreading the great art of music through the important human and artistic experience of approaching an instrument. To make the experience complete, the music school organizes, in addition to the two institutional essays at Christmas and at the end of the school year, also the performances of the students at city events such as "Trieste in my heart" at the Teatro Rossetti or even as guests at the homes of rest of the city or during the summer concerts of the Civic Wind Orchestra "G. Verdi ”- City of Trieste at Piazza Unità d’Italia or Castello di San Giusto.
Teachers' teaching method is based on the development of a personalized path, considering the age and ambitions of the individual student; is based on the creation of a special relationship with music, giving the student the opportunity to share the same passion with new friends and at the same time deepen their knowledge of themselves.
