L'istruttrice sa valorizzare ogni singolo soggetto sia quadrupede che bipede ? e questo permette di lavorare e crescere col proprio cane in tranquillità e divertimento ? Brava Katia ? Il campo d'addestramento è grande e situato vicino al parco Parabae, un luogo ideale per passeggiare o rilassarsi dopo gli esercizi. Era da un po che avevo intenzione di rivolgermi ad una scuola cinofila per educare il mio cagnolino Toby e ho detto perché non provarci? L'addestratrice Katia è molto professionale e super paziente e mi ha fatto notare fin da subito quali erano i comportamenti sbagliati che lasciavo fare al mio cane... devo dire che evitando tali comportamenti e mettendo in pratica tutti i suoi insegnamenti, in pochissimo tempo ho notato un sacco di miglioramenti.... Il metodo di Katia verte sullo sviluppo e la consapevolezza del rapporto cane-padrone che illumina tutto il percorso di formazione per la coppia a sei zampe e si completa con l'insegnamento delle tecniche necessarie all'educazione del proprio cane. Non a caso scrivo sei zampe, perchè l'insegnamento è diretto non solo al cane ma anche al padrone. Si impara così a capire la psicologia del proprio amico e le motivazioni che stanno alla base delle tecniche di addestramento. Dal primo momento ho capito che Katia ama i cani, esattamente come me, e si diverte a condurre questi corsi. Questo fa sì che il clima che si respira nella scuola, complice anche la location perfetta, sia di serenità, stimolo e complicità. Ho usato la parola stimolo perchè durante le lezioni traspare ed emerge il background sportivo di Katia e dei suoi splendidi Border Collie (Obedience, Agility, Pet-terapy,...) che permettere di sperimentare e valutare eventuali possibilità verso queste splendide discipline (quindi non solo Puppy Class ed educazione di base...). Katia inoltre organizza stage su argomenti specifici (tenuti da specialisti esterni italiani e stranieri) che posso rappresentare una possibilità di approfondimento di temi di interesse particolare.
