First of all, the food is great. Highly recommend the Scroccazucche antipasti which takes you across the taste palette from great salume to fine bruschetta and good cheese. Then the carpaccio is also high quality: the Chianina one is top notch. The pasta are next level, I had the daily primi which was awesome, the pici cienta and carcioffi are also great. A nice vino nobile along was just perfect. Honest food prepared with love.
But then, the financials that obviously also matter. First time we went 4 adults and 5 children w house wine: 115euro. 2nd time 6 adults and 7 children, 2 bottles of vino nobile: 205euro. I dare you to find greater value for money with culinary satisfaction guarantee and pleasant environment feeling. The fact that an estimated 80% of the guests are Italian says enough. I can only recommend this as our number one go-to address in Tuscany. As I told the owner: great restaurant. Seriously considering going a 3rd time in 1 week span.

I’m ITALIAN and I can say one of the best place I have been so far ... don’t forget to read the quote on the table napkins very profound...❤️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We got a recommendation to eat here, so we thought we'd take a chance. We got lucky; the place was packed, but we were welcome anyway. It smelled great, and when the food arrived, it met our expectations and then some. It was delicious! The waiters were very busy, but made time to be friendly, even the ones who didnt appear to speak english (and we didnt Italian) made an effort to be hospitable. We felt very welcome, grazie!
