★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Facilmente raggiungibile da Marzio passando per il Crotto o da Cuasso rende e valorizza il panorama circostante, si sale sul sasso e si osserva nella speranza che la vegetazione non copra troppo la visuale (dal Monte Derta puoi solo immaginare). Periodo consigliato autunno inverno con un pochino di neve. Intorno trincee e cunicoli della Linea Cadorna in buonissimo stato grazie al lavoro del volontariato di zona.
Easily reachable from Marzio passing through the Crotto or from Cuasso it makes and enhances the surrounding landscape, you climb the stone and observe in the hope that the vegetation does not cover the view too much (from Monte Derta you can only imagine). Recommended period autumn winter with a little snow. Around the trenches and tunnels of the Cadorna Line in very good condition thanks to the work of the area volunteers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Passeggiata breve e facile nel boschi, scorci naturali e passaggi davvero interessanti per la presenza di una linea di trincee del 1917. Certo la vista sul lago è limitata ma vale la pena per un giretto sopratutto con i bambini. Portate il pranzo al sacco e l’acqua non esistono punti di ristoro e fontane.
È raggiungibile anche dalla stazione dei treni di Ponte Ceresio a piedi in due orette ma risulta un po’ lunghetta. Altri percorsi dal sasso parafiamo meritano un altro giro in una zona davvero incantevole.
Short and easy walk in the woods, natural views and really interesting passages due to the presence of a line of trenches from 1917. Of course the view of the lake is limited but it is worthwhile for a stroll especially with children. Bring a packed lunch and water, there are no refreshment points and fountains.
It can also be reached from the Ponte Ceresio train station on foot in two hours but it is a bit lengthy. Other paths from the parafiamo rock deserve another turn in a truly enchanting area.
