Quasi sempre vuoto perché situato sulla panoramica A1 che non usa più nessuno, soprattutto i camion, quindi posto ideale per motociclisti che oltre a godersi il panorama possono sostare serenamente senza file, assembramenti, rifornirsi e comprare prodotti tipici locali a buon prezzo. È sul valico appenninico luce aria e spazio sono un'aggiunta ambientale che ti fa sentire bene.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Per chi vuole fare un pit-stop lungo la A1, venendo da Bologna a cavallo tra Emilia e Toscana sicuramente vale la pena fare una sosta alla stazione di servizio Sarni, ragione di più se è una bella giornata di sole. Il bar offre una buina scelta di panini variamente garciti, dolci e bevande. Il perdonale è cordiale. Se avete qualche mimuto, godetevi la vista dei boschi di questo scorcio di appennino.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Per chi, con il caldo estivo, proviene da nord e si sposta in direzione Firenze, può convenire prendere la deviazione della A1 "panoramica", che camminando a quota più elevata, risulta anche più fresca. Di per sé abbastanza simile alle altre stazioni di rifornimento, i panini sono di discreta qualità come lo sono la pulizia ed i servizi. Alcune offerte sui prodotti sembravano convenienti.
