The place is fantastic for an unparalleled view of the Iseo, the restaurant reminds of ancient refreshment of the old memorable pilgrims, the staff of the restaurant very hospitable.

La passeggiata dura 20/30 min non è tanto faticosa è per di più pianeggiante. Lo spazio dietro la chiesa è perfetto per fare pic-nic, è anche attrezzato con fuochi e tavoli. Godi di un’ottima vista sul lago d’iseo. Parking at the first bend in via S. maria del giogo Polaveno, is the beginning of the path that leads to the sanctuary. The walk lasts 20/30 minutes and is not so strenuous it is mostly flat. The space behind the church is perfect for picnics, it is also equipped with fires and tables. Enjoy a great view of the Iseo lake.

Consiglio la visita per una messa domenicale, una passeggiata o anche solo per un pasto all'adiacente trattoria Place of peace and spiritual relaxation. Da lassù il panorama sul lago d'Iseo, con Montisola e le orobie circostanti, è spettacoloso. Presente anche una trattoria ed un bar degli alpini. Raggiungibile sia in auto salendo da Sulzano (ma la strada asfaltata è stretta all'inizio della via per il santuario) che a piedi dalla stessa strada (circa 3km) o da Polaveno via sentiero parcheggiando al tornante prima della trattoria 'I Colmi' (circa 2km) Fantastic area for a picnic in the lawn adjacent to the Benedictine sanctuary or for a walk up both from Sulzano (road) and from Polaveno (paths). From up there, the view over Lake Iseo, with Montisola and the surrounding Orobie Mountains, is spectacular. There is also a trattoria and an alpine bar. Reachable either by car going up from Sulzano (but the paved road is narrow at the beginning of the road to the sanctuary) or on foot from the same road (about 3km) or from Polaveno via the path by parking at the hairpin bend before the 'I Colmi' restaurant (approx. 2km)

Il percorso ha un difficoltà molto bassa, quindi è ideale anche per le famiglie con i bambini, inoltre all'inizio del percorso c'è un ampio parcheggio. Il santuario è ben tenuto e pulito, pecca solo per mancanza di qualche cestino per i rifiuti. Per chi invece volesse camminare di più, può andare lungo il sentiero degli elfi. The sanctuary is well kept and clean, but it only lacks a few litter boxes. For those who want to walk more, you can go along the path of the elves.

Vi anche la possibilità di fare una piacevole camminata ad anello sul crinale. A beautiful place to have a picnic and enjoy a breathtaking view of Lake Iseo.
