★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa dell’epoca si rifaceva allo stile del Vaccaro, famoso esponente partenopeo del barocco italiano. Attualmente invece c'e' una facciata di stile contemporaneo.
San Pasquale fu un pastore appartenente all’ordine dei Frati Minori d’Alcantara e divenne santo alla fine del Seicento. Ogni convento o chiesa appartenente ai Frati Alcantarini furono dedicati al loro Santo e quindi anche quello del Granatello composto da convento e chiesa.
The church of the time was inspired by the style of Vaccaro, a famous Neapolitan exponent of Italian Baroque. Currently, however, there is a contemporary style facade.
San Pasquale was a shepherd belonging to the order of the Friars Minor of Alcantara and became a saint at the end of the seventeenth century. Each convent or church belonging to the Alcantarini Friars was dedicated to their saint and therefore also that of Granatello made up of a convent and church.
