S	Sabrina Riva on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ci siamo stati Domenica, Bellissimo Santuario, tranquillo e pulito, si passa attraverso una via, dove si intersecano Alpi, e boschi, a un certo momento in zona Gajum albergo si divide in due, e diventa spirito del bosco, sentiero, con statue artigianali in legno, in mezzo hai boschi, e le montagne, andando dritto invece si arriva a via x San miro dove alla fine trovi, un santuario molto bello, piccolo, paesaggio bellissimo, tra Alpi e boschi, noto anche come geosito della Insubria, dove sono presenti, massi erratici, venuti da Svizzera, Valtellina, valchiavenna, valmalenco, ecc perché caduti staccatisi negli anni, in alcuni punti ci sono cartelli, scritte che descrivo. S	Samuel Corrado on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Molto bello e suggestivo,con tavolini all'esterno, raggiungibile in breve tempo dal parcheggio delle fonti gajum, ottimo come breve gita con bambini o come tappa per poi salire all'alpe alto ed al cornizzolo. Very beautiful and evocative, with tables outside, reachable in a short time from the parking lot of the Gajum sources, excellent as a short trip with children or as a stop to then go up to the high alp and cornizzolo.
M	MARCO on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Posto molto tranquillo ideale per la tranquillità.... in estate è molto fresco e quando fa veramente caldo qui si sta da Dio e se si gira dietro al santuario si può andare nel ruscello che scorre sotto che è sempre freddo.....mentre in inverno è bellissimo quando ha appena nevicato sembra una cartolina....vedere per credere???? Very quiet place ideal for tranquility .... in the summer it is very cool and when it is really hot here you are from God and if you turn behind the sanctuary you can go into the stream that flows underneath which is always cold ..... while in winter it is beautiful when it has just snowed it looks like a postcard .... seeing is believing????

L	Leonardo Gualdoni on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Belissimo Santuario! Dietro c'è la possibilità di fare vita cpmune anche con parecchi ragazzi/adulti per qualche ritiro fatto nel silenzio e nella natura. Il luogo è impreziosito dalla presenza di uno splendido ruscello in cui si può fare il bagno, nella pozza sotto la cascata. Raggiungibile con una breve passeggiata di circa mezz'ora dal parcheggio. Belissimo Sanctuary! Behind there is the possibility of making life cpmune even with several kids / adults for some retreat done in silence and in nature. The place is embellished by the presence of a splendid stream where you can swim in the puddle under the waterfall. Reachable with a short walk of about half an hour from the parking lot.
C	Castore on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dal parcheggio di Canzo in via Gajum si dirama la via Geologica che porta verso il santuario di S. Miro. Disposto a quota 606 mt. s.l.m. l'eremo si staglia sullo sfondo delle montagne e accanto ad un ruscello che produce acqua fresca per i visitatori. Dopo circa 40 minuti di salita non impegnativa e adatta anche ai bambini, alcuni salgono anche in bicicletta, si arriva al santuario. Le indicazioni che si trovano al parcheggio sono chiare ed esaustive e il percorso è facile ed intuitivo. Lungo la strada si diramano poi altri sentieri che si riallacciano a molti siti della zona. Si narra che S. Miro fosse un pellegrino che cercò riparo presso la zona di prima Alpe. Venne ospitato nelle stalle e gli venne raccontato che di notte anche con la luna piena ed il cielo terso, si potevano vedere lampi e sentire tuoni dovuti ai demoni che scagliavano massi sulla valle, (i massi erratici). Quella notte accadde proprio quanto detto e S. Miro cominciò a maledire i demoni. Il mattino successivo gli abitanti poterono osservare la valle squassata da enormi promontori, (i corni di Canzo), che intrepretarono come i diavoli precipitati sulla terra e trasformatisi in roccia. Molto suggestiva questa storia, vero? From the Canzo car park in via Gajum the via Geologica branches off, leading to the sanctuary of S. Miro. That night exactly what was said happened and S. Miro began to curse the demons. The next morning the inhabitants were able to observe the valley shaken by enormous promontories (the horns of Canzo), which they interpreted as the devils that had fallen to the earth and turned into rock. Very impressive this story, right?

Bella fuori ma stupenda dentro. Superb Sanctuary surrounded by nature. Reachable via a road made with pebbles, from Canzo or from the peaks of the Rai and Cornizzolo mountains. Beautiful on the outside but gorgeous on the inside.
