★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cantina di alta qualità. Azienda agricola biologica di prestigio ad alto contenuto storico. Le terre sono di proprietà della famiglia Scala fin dal 1600. Tutte queste terre e le attività vennero prese in mano nel 1960 da Federico Scala (nipote di Falcone Lucifero, ministro della Real Casa). Oltre la cantina c'è un frantoio moderno che produce un ottimo olio con una esperienza centenaria. Infatti è ancora possibile vedere le pesanti ruote di pietra che giravano in tondo trainate dagli animali per schiacciare le olive.. Il personale è competente e accogliente. I prezzi sono onesti. Medio bassi. C'è la bottiglia economica con dell'ottimo vino e quella più costosa con vino barricato. Da segnalare il buonissimo ed 'esclusivo spumante SP1 che permane in bottiglia sui suoi lieviti per 18 mesi prima di essere degorgiato e messo in vendita.
High quality cellar. Prestigious organic farm with a high historical content. The lands have been owned by the Scala family since 1600. All these lands and activities were taken over in 1960 by Federico Scala (nephew of Falcone Lucifero, minister of the Real House). Beyond the cellar there is a modern oil mill that produces an excellent oil with a centenary experience. In fact, it is still possible to see the heavy stone wheels that turned in circles drawn by animals to crush the olives .. The staff is competent and welcoming. The prices are fair. Medium low. There is the cheap bottle with excellent wine and the more expensive one with barricaded wine. To note the delicious and exclusive SP1 sparkling wine that remains in the bottle on its lees for 18 months before being disgorged and put on sale.
