★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sino ai primi decenni del XIX secolo Arni era un paese di montagna dedito all'allevamento ed all'agricoltura di sopravvivenza. All'inizio del 1800 cominciò lo sfruttamento delle cave, evento che ha cambiato l'economia della zona e che ha richiamato un numero elevato di operai che è andato via via popolando il paese sino ai progressi tecnologici della seconda metà del XX secolo che hanno toccato anche la lavorazione del marmo e che ha ricondotto la popolazione ai numeri propri di un borgo di montagna. Arni ha pagato un tributo elevatissimo di sangue all'estrazione del marmo, come dimostra la lapide che ricorda i caduti sul lavoro posta all'ingresso del paese. La chiesa è stata costruita nel 1820.
Until the first decades of the 19th century, Arni was a mountain town dedicated to livestock farming and survival agriculture. At the beginning of the 1800s the exploitation of the quarries began, an event that changed the economy of the area and which attracted a large number of workers who gradually populated the country until the technological progress of the second half of the twentieth century that affected also the marble working and that brought the population back to the proper numbers of a mountain village. Arni paid a very high tribute of blood to the extraction of marble, as evidenced by the plaque commemorating the fallen on the job placed at the entrance of the town. The church was built in 1820.
