★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il luogo è molto caro ai Reggini vista la loro devozione nei confronti del Santo di Padova. In stile gotico moderno è, dal punto di vista architettonico, piuttosto interessante. C'è un'atmosfera mistica e molto intensa. Dietro l'altare si trova un tempietto con la statua del Santo a cui si accede attraverso due rampe di scale laterali. Molti Reggini salgono in ginocchio per ottemperare a un voto. È anche tradizione chiedere per iscritto le grazie al Santo, scrivendo su dei taccuini di appunti che si trovano in prossimità della statua oppure direttamente sul marmo sotto la statua stessa.
The place is very dear to the people of Reggio due to their devotion to the Saint of Padua. In modern Gothic style it is, from an architectural point of view, quite interesting. There is a mystical and very intense atmosphere. Behind the altar there is a small temple with the statue of the Saint which is accessed via two flights of side stairs. Many Reggini go up on their knees to fulfill a vow. It is also tradition to ask the Saint for graces in writing, writing on notebooks that are located near the statue or directly on the marble under the statue itself.
