All'interno ho sentito un coro, che credo sia stanziale, provare musica rinascimentale; coro amatoriale, suppongo, ma di ottimo livello. Beautiful location, pleasant building well inserted into the landscape, especially when viewed from a distance; the interior is quite common. Inside I heard a choir, which I believe is permanent, to try Renaissance music; amateur choir, I suppose, but excellent.

Vicino al Santuario una pizzeria e poco più sopra un ristorante. Di fronte una Via Crucis che finisce con una statua del Cristo Risorto. Enchanting place at the peak of a valley. History of an apparition of the Virgin and Child to a shepherdess comforted with a bread and a handkerchief to dry the sweat. Near the Sanctuary there is a pizzeria and a little further above a restaurant. In front of it is a Via Crucis which ends with a statue of the Risen Christ.

La storia della festa sorta in onore di Maria delle Grazie è sentita tantissimo dagli abitanti del vicino paesino Pentone. Il santuario è piccolo ma accogliente, silenzioso e austero. Un bellissimo crocefisso ispira il raccoglimento e la preghiera.. la riproduzione dell' apparizione all'interno di una nicchia, esprime un po' di quella gioia e di quel coinvolgimento d'anima e corpo che, probabilmente la pastorella nutri' alla vista di una 'Signora' di siffatta bellezza.. The story of the feast born in honor of Maria delle Grazie is deeply felt by the inhabitants of the nearby village Pentone. The sanctuary is small but welcoming, quiet and austere. A beautiful crucifix inspires meditation and prayer .. the reproduction of the apparition inside a niche expresses a bit of that joy and that involvement of soul and body which, probably the shepherdess nourished at the sight of a 'Lady' of such beauty ..

Ogni volta che vengo da queste parti mi fermo in questo luogo sorto nel punto dove la Madonna sarebbe apparsa alla pastorella Madia (all'interno del santuario a sinistra si trova una grotta commemorativa che si illumina quando ci si avvicina). Dal piazzale antistante si può vedere il mare con una bellissima visuale. La chiesa è ricca di decorazioni e stucchi. Un'oasi di pace. To visit. Every time I come from these parts I stop in this place that arose in the point where the Madonna would have appeared to the shepherdess Madia (inside the sanctuary on the left there is a memorial grotto that lights up when you approach it). From the square in front you can see the sea with a beautiful view. The church is rich in decorations and stuccos. An oasis of peace.

È una bella festa religiosa,(8 settembre) dove dopo la messa mattutina la statua della Madonna viene portata in processione sui colli. Ricordo quando ci andavo da piccola, era un viottolo non asfaltato tutto in salita che portava alla cima del monte dove c'era una croce. I rintocchi delle campane accompagnano la processione ed è visibile la lunga coda di pellegrini in lontananza su x la montagna. Grande fermento al ritorno della statua e nel piazzale ci sono anche le bancarelle. Ricordo che molti fedeli arrivavano al Santuario a piedi dai paesi circostanti come atto di devozione. L'interno della chiesa è curato con fregi dorati The Sanctuary is located in the presila Catanzaro, on the main road leading to Sila. It is a beautiful religious festival (8 September) where after the morning mass the statue of the Madonna is carried in procession on the hills. I remember when I used to go there as a child, it was an unpaved path all uphill that led to the top of the mountain where there was a cross. The tolling of the bells accompany the procession and the long queue of pilgrims in the distance is visible on the mountain. Great excitement at the return of the statue and in the square there are also stalls. I remember that many faithful came to the Sanctuary on foot from the surrounding villages as an act of devotion. The interior of the church is treated with gilded friezes
