★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are looking for a place straight out of a fairytale, mount Višarje - monte Lussari is one amazing place. The pilgrimage center for three nations, three cultures, caught in the crossfire of ww1...the history is so rich here, you could visit a hundred times and still discover something new, and if you like an amazing view, this one is almost perfect. And there is a cable car to the top of the mountain.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stunning place to visit, especially in winter it is magical. Nice hike up. Takes about 2.5 hours one way. Places to eat and stay at the top. Offers great views.
