Dal punto di vista religioso il parroco è veramente una splendida persona. Ci si può parlare liberamente. Very beautiful church externally with scenes carved in marble and very old. There isn't much to see inside. From a religious point of view, the parish priest is truly a splendid person. We can talk freely.

Cmq il luogo è suggestivo, nella campagna a due passi della città, poco frequentato e raggiungibile con l'auto parcheggiabile nei pressi. Merita una visita The exterior is very beautiful with very interesting Romanesque bas-reliefs. Unfortunately the interior has been remodeled. Anyway the place is suggestive, in the countryside a stone's throw from the city, not very busy and accessible by car parked nearby. Worth a visit
v	vittorio laurenzi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fu eretta al principio del V secolo dal Vescovo Achilleo che vi trasportò una reliquia di San Pietro,come chiesa cimiteriale. Vi sono sepolti i primi Vescovi. Spettacolare è la facciata ( secolo XII ) i rilievi costituiscono nel loro insieme il capolavoro della scultura romanica in Umbria. It was built at the beginning of the fifth century by Bishop Achilleus who transported a relic of St. Peter, as a cemetery church. The first Bishops are buried there. Spectacular is the façade (12th century). The reliefs together constitute the masterpiece of Romanesque sculpture in Umbria.
C	Carlo C. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chiesa fondata nel 419 d.c. Riedificata intorno all'anno mille. Molto interessante la facciata con ampi ed insoliti bassorilievi di quell'epoca. Church founded in 419 AD. Rebuilt around the year one thousand. The façade with large and unusual bas-reliefs from that period is very interesting.

G	Gabriele Cazzoli on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bella la posizione su un poggio dall'altra parte della statale, con vista spettacolare sulla Rocca. Affascinanti i bassorilievi sulla facciata che risalgono alla prima chiesa romanica. Meritano sicuramente di essere osservati di tardo pomeriggio quando il sole li illumina in pieno. Sopra il portale di sinistra un elegantissimo Michele col Drago denota l'influenza dei Longobardi. Molto divertenti anche i rilievi con i diavoli che cercano di accaparrarsi i defunti sedendosi sul cadavere o falsando i piatti della bilancia del giudizio divino. Scene dei vangeli e rilievi con animali reali o fantastici completano il quadro. Questi rilievi sono però stati rimessi in opera dopo la ristrutturazione radicale della chiesa in epoca barocca, quindi hanno perso completamente il loro ordine e contesto. L'interno della chiesa è armonioso, ma parecchio spoglio. Sa qui parte un sentimento che arriva fino al ponte delle Torri purtroppo chiuso da alcuni anni. The location on a hillock on the other side of the state road is beautiful, with a spectacular view of the Rocca. The bas-reliefs on the facade that date back to the first Romanesque church are fascinating. They certainly deserve to be observed in the late afternoon when the sun lights them up in full. Above the left portal, a very elegant Michele with the Dragon denotes the influence of the Lombards. The reliefs with devils who try to grab the dead by sitting on the corpse or by falsifying the scales of the divine judgment are also very amusing. Scenes from the Gospels and reliefs with real or fantastic animals complete the picture. These reliefs, however, were put back in place after the radical restructuring of the church in the Baroque era, so they have completely lost their order and context. The interior of the church is harmonious, but quite bare. A feeling starts here that reaches the bridge of the Towers, unfortunately closed for some years.
