★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the perfect example of how an Italian restaurant should be. They don’t make you pay €8 to €12 for a simple pasta dish ordered outside a fixed menu option (unless you order a complex recipe of the chef or something which involves expensive ingredients like “spaghetti alle vongole”, in this case paying something more is obvious). They don’t force you to have a complete fixed menu option, so that if you just want a dish with a beverage, you can have it without being obliged to pay for “primo”, “secondo” and “contorno” and without paying the “outside fixed menu fee” in other restaurants you may be charged (with the exception of small eateries near schools and universities: all of these usually propose honest prices also to people who don’t have a complete fixed menu). This restaurant lets you choose how much you want to eat without expedients to convince you to order more. One last thing: this restaurant does not make you pay an additional cover charge. As said before: this is the perfect example of how an Italian restaurant should be, with great quality and with no tricks or additional fees you may find in other local restaurants not situated near schools or universities. Not to mention the fact dishes were delicious, also my friend, who had a complete menu, was satisfied. Staff was friendly, maybe not always informed (asked if their pasta with pesto was made with artisanal pesto and the waiter was not completely sure), but this is absolutely nothing and it’s also something completely forgivable, considering all the other positive things. They even offered us and the other customers some delicious “schiacciata” pie pieces at the start of the meal. One of the best restaurants tried in the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited after reading review on Google. We had a very nice meal of pasta with ragu and a mushroom tagliatelle. Both served quickly by attentive staff. Finished off with a tiramisu that was gorgeous. It was lovely and creamy that tasted freshly made. Would recommend
