Sei ore prima della cena il titolare ci chiama e ci cancella la prenotazione. Evidentemente preferisce tavoli di coppie per aumentare i coperti. Inexplicable. The place is small but nice. Il vino è arrivato dopo qualche giorno ma purtroppo ci siamo accorti che si tratta di sboccatura agosto 2019. Son veramente amareggiato e dispiaciuto perchè ritengo poco serio vendere un vino metodo classico con una sboccatura di oltre 14 mesi....bisogna avvisare prima anche perchè il vino è stato pagato a prezzo intero!!! Se serve possiamo pubblicare la foto delle bottiglie e del documento di vendita I purchased 8 bottles of classic method wine level 8.20 (Sicilian) on 01.10.2020. The wine arrived after a few days but unfortunately we realized that it is a disgorgement August 2019. I am really embittered and sorry because I consider it not very serious to sell a classic method wine with a disgorgement of over 14 months .... we must also notify first because the wine was paid at full price !!! E invece in questa osteria elegante e tranquilla ho mangiato una parmigiana eccezionale, non unta e bisunta. Tutta la cena è stata magnifica: dalle alici al pesce spada, dai fichi con prosciutto alla mousse di ricotta con miele e pistacchi interi croccanti. Wide range of top shelf products for friendly prices and the owner is always courteous with useful advice on local wines. Honestly speaking, I can't imagine Lipari without this place. Highest recommendation I can give.
