L'Italia è cosparsa di arte, un cospicuo capitolo del quale sono le Chiese sconsacrate, vedi Napoli, ad esempio, che ne conta innumerevoli. Siamo Noi bestioline a dover prendercene cura, a doverne essere gelosi, lo dobbiamo alla Nostra Terra verso il quale non siamo oggi riconoscenti a sufficienza, per evitare che in futuro si ripeta il "butta giù e fai un bel centro commerciale oppure dei bei palazzoni" per far arricchire chi poi si fa la villetta sui colli...Ma sarà una sfida ardua... D	Domenico Luciano Moretti on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Costruita tra il 1608 e il 1612 da Pietro Fiorini per sostituire la vecchia chiesa, è composta da un'unica navata sulla quale si affacciano otto cappelle laterali alcune delle quali ancora della chiesa originaria. Dopo il 1797 la chiesa e il convento furono espropriati e venduti a privati che la trasformarono in magazzino. Dal 1870 è proprietà del Demanio militare che la usó ancora come deposito, costruendo anche un soppalco per sfruttarne meglio lo spazio. Attualmente sembra ci sia un progetto di recupero per trasformarla in una sede per eventi culturali e lo spero vivamente!
