M	Mauro Balboni on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La zona, a ridosso del parco di Montovolo, la conosco molto bene, così come le trattorie del territorio, l'unica che mi mancava era il Sambuco...! Ambiente caldo ma molto piccolo, forse troppo, le specialità del menu, abbastanza ridotte, sono prevalentemente di pesce, ma decisamente curate e gustose! La cosa che mi ha stupito è stata l'eccessiva velocità con cui hanno servito i piatti richiesti, sia il primo come il secondo, quasi li avessero pronti lì, ..in attesa! Inoltre il proprietario si aggirava osservando continuamente, tra i pochi tavoli, e negli spazi ristretti, come un falco, pronto a portare via i piatti appena svuotati! Dopo 40 minuti eravamo già pronti per pagare, e qui altra nota dolente (..comunque già anticipata nel menù!), conto decisamente alto rispetto alle aspettative legate a tutto l'ambiente! La tipica e classica trattoria sull'Appennino, ..è tutta un'altra cosa! The area, close to the Montovolo park, I know very well, as well as the local trattorias, the only one I was missing was the Sambuco ...! Warm but very small, perhaps too small, the specialties on the menu, quite small, are mainly fish, but definitely refined and tasty! The thing that surprised me was the excessive speed with which they served the requested dishes, both the first and the second, as if they had them ready there, .. waiting! In addition, the owner wandered around observing continuously, among the few tables, and in the confined spaces, like a hawk, ready to take away the dishes just emptied! After 40 minutes we were ready to pay, and here another sore point (. Anyway already anticipated in the menu!), Very high count compared to the expectations related to the whole environment! The typical and classic restaurant on the Apennines, .. is something else entirely!
M	Massimo Castella on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Locale tanto piccolo quanto incantevole, nascosto nel cuore dell'Appennino Bolognese. Piatti molto buoni, anzi ottimi come eccellente è il servizio. La cuoca ventenne alle prime armi è sublime, come il simpatico giovanotto che serve ai tavoli e ti accoglie insieme alla figlia. A place as small as it is enchanting, hidden in the heart of the Bolognese Apennines. Very good dishes, indeed excellent as excellent is the service. The twenty-year-old novice cook is sublime, like the nice young man who serves at the tables and welcomes you with his daughter.

Unexpected place ... welcoming place like the owners ... courtesy and excellent service ... recommended place for small groups and lunches / dinners with friends or intimate people ... great experience ... Nei saluti finali abbiamo scambiato due chiacchiere con La cuoca e la figlia... li trovo simpaticissimi e molto in gamba, sia lei che il marito che serve in sala. Il menù è improntato maggiormente sul pesce, a cui si aggiungono 3primi e 3 secondi di carne. Vini ottimi ma solamente in bottiglia! Prezzi in generale abbastanza salati...? Very chic, clean and tidy restaurant with good looks, surrounded by greenery. In the final greetings we had a chat with the cook and her daughter ... I find them very nice and very smart, both she and the husband who serves in the dining room. The menu is mainly based on fish, to which 3 first courses and 3 second courses of meat are added. Excellent wines but only in bottles! Prices in general quite salty ... ?

Il servizio al tavolo gestito dal proprietario con 50ennale esperienza nella ristorazione contiene tutta la qualità e la cortesia che va al di là del semplice mestiere ma confina con la passione per il suo lavoro. Così come la moglie in cucina, felice se i clienti scelgono i piatti che lei più ama o apprezza per la stagionalità. Tutti i piatti di pesce sono abbondanti e di ottimo livello. La prossima volta mi faccio suggerire dalla signora in cucina cosa preferisce nel menu del giorno. Non sono riuscita ad arrivare ai dolci, li proverò la prossima volta, pare che meritino la mia visita. Alla prossima! Well-kept place, enchanting atmosphere. The table service managed by the owner with 50 years of experience in catering contains all the quality and courtesy that goes beyond the simple profession but borders on the passion for his work. Just like his wife in the kitchen, happy if customers choose the dishes she loves or appreciates most for the season. All fish dishes are abundant and of excellent quality. Next time I let the lady in the kitchen suggest what she prefers on the menu of the day. I couldn't get to the desserts, I'll try them next time, it seems they deserve my visit. Until next time!

Pesce freschissimo cucinato ad arte, gestori cordiali, da tornarci quanto prima. Pure poetry ... after visiting the little gem "La Scola", by chance we find a panoramic restaurant.
