Vivo in Svizzera e ogni volta che mi trovo nel meridione anche se solo di passaggio non posso non fare tappa al Salvia Ranch. Bravi ragazzi continuate così io tornerò presto Great quality of food, impeccable service just don't know what could be done better. I live in Switzerland and every time I am in the south, even if only passing through, I cannot miss a stop at Salvia Ranch. Good guys keep it up I will be back soon

Gli abbiamo chiesto di essere veloce perché facevamo una pausa pranzo e dovevamo continaure la visita in zona e il servizio è stato molto veloce anche se la sala era piena e a lavorare sono solo in due. Ppsto pulito. Piatti buoni e abbondanti. Great place. We booked before arriving by phone and the owner made us find the table ready. We asked him to be quick because we had a lunch break and we had to continue the visit in the area and the service was very fast even if the room was full and only two people work. Ppsto clean. Good and abundant dishes.

Abbiamo apprezzato innanzitutto la gentilezza e disponibilità di Angelo che anche se abbiamo prenotato all'ultimo minuto ci ha accolto velocemente. Infatti dopo la visita alle Cascate del Tuorno e una visita in paese non c'è niente di meglio che farsi consigliare per una degustazione di prodotti locali. Noi in quattro abbiamo ordinato un antipasto misto di salumi e formaggi locali e un primo diverso per poi scambiarceli, cosa molto apprezzata perché spesso i ristoranti obbligano a prendere un primo per almeno 2 persone invece qui il cuoco non si è tirato indietro e perciò ci siamo sfiziati. Stesso discorso anche per i secondi a dir poco eccezionali e abbondanti come i primi. Un contorno di patate e peperoni cruschi... che Angelo ha gentilmente abbondato per accontentare la nostra voglia. Per farla breve, un ristorante dove tutte le portate profumano di prodotti genuini e preparati come se li avesse fatti vostra mamma!!! Ma attenzione perché il cuoco invece è un omaccione grande e grosso ma gentile e bravissimo!!! Il conto poi... la sorpresa perché per quello che c'era in tavola e per la qualità delle portate... sicuramente troveremo una scusa per tornare qui!!! Inoltre il Salvia Ranch organizza anche escursioni a cavallo e dopo il pranzo potrete fare una passeggiata nel vicino bosco accompagnati dalla simpaticissima Vespa, una cagnolina dolcissima e simpatica. Just outside the village of Savoia di Lucania in a strategic position is this real ranch, a country and family atmosphere. We appreciated first of all the kindness and availability of Angelo who even though we booked at the last minute welcomed us quickly. In fact, after visiting the Tuorno waterfalls and visiting the town, there is nothing better than being advised for a tasting of local products. We four ordered a mixed appetizer of salami and local cheeses and a different first course and then exchanged them, which is much appreciated because restaurants often oblige to take a first course for at least 2 people but here the cook did not hold back and therefore we sfiziati. The same goes for the latter, to say the least, exceptional and abundant as the former. A side dish of potatoes and bran peppers ... which Angelo has kindly abundated to satisfy our desire. In short, a restaurant where all courses smell of genuine products and prepared as if your mom had made them !!! But be careful because the cook, on the other hand, is a big and big but gentle and very good man !!! The bill then ... the surprise because for what was on the table and for the quality of the dishes ... surely we will find an excuse to come back here !!! In addition, the Salvia Ranch also organizes excursions on horseback and after lunch you can take a walk in the nearby woods accompanied by the very nice Vespa, a very sweet and nice dog.

Si trova nella zona agricola di Savoia di Lucania, immerso nel verde e con un bel panorama e con qualche impianto eolico nei paraggi (ma a me non dispiace affatto, essendo un gran sostenitore delle energie rinnovabili). Il locale è molto accogliente, ben riscaldato con una bellissima stufa a pellet che era accesa a gran potenza con una bella fiamma. Ricevuti con grande garbo, personale educato e professionale. Distanziamento dei tavoli buono, il locale era pieno ma i tempi di attesa delle portate non hanno accusato alcun ritardo. Antipasto con affettati di qualità e formaggi veramente buoni. Mio figlio è stato "coccolato" dal personale che lo ha accontentato in tutto. Pezzo forte la carne! Vasta scelta e qualità indiscussa. Ho preso una fiorentina che era veramente buona nel sapore e nella cottura. Tutto il pranzo è stato un piacere. Usciti dal ristorante abbiamo trascorso un pochino di tempo fuori a guardare i cavalli nei loro paddock, pulitissimi e ben accuditi. Posso dire senza dubbio che è un posto dove chi ci lavora ci mette il cuore e si vede. Non cambiate mai! Very positive experience. It is located in the agricultural area of Savoia di Lucania, surrounded by greenery and with a beautiful view and with some wind farms nearby (but I don't mind at all, being a great supporter of renewable energy). The place is very welcoming, well heated with a beautiful pellet stove that was lit at great power with a beautiful flame. Received with great courtesy, polite and professional staff. The spacing of the tables was good, the place was full but the waiting times for the courses were not delayed. Appetizer with quality cold cuts and really good cheeses. My son was "pampered" by the staff who satisfied him in everything. Strong piece the meat! Wide choice and undisputed quality. I took a Florentine which was really good in flavor and cooking. All lunch was a pleasure. After leaving the restaurant we spent some time outside watching the horses in their paddocks, which were spotless and well looked after. I can say without a doubt that it is a place where those who work there put their heart into it and it shows. Never change!
