It looks like a regular local sausages, ham and cheeses store, but the have a couple of tables and they would serve you whatever you want out of their products with a cup of wine. Everything we tasted was great and the service is special. The mozzarella its a must. We will be back for sure. Thabk you!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had walked miles in the heat in search of some of the best Neapolitan pizza, but we forgot nothing opens until 7pm, so we found ourselves dehydrated, exhausted, and starving, ready to eat almost anything. My fiancee said, "Let's go to that little market with the tables," which sounded to me like, "Let's go to the place with the things" because how many little markets had we passed? How many tables? My brain barely functioned, but we found the place she remembered a few blocks from the closed pizzeria, and we had a nearly-religious experience.
In passable Italian (thanks Google Translate) we told the owner we were in his hands, and he laid forth a feast of wine and cheese and meats and olive oils the likes of which I had never had before. Our appetites were beyond satisfied. Our energy was restored. Our faith in humanity was restored. Others walking by saw us beaming and entered and we encouraged them all to do as we did and "Let the man feed you," as I said to several.
We also stocked up on gifts for people we love because if you love someone, you treat them to food from Rafele.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a VERY late review, as we visited in 2016 but I'm not at ALL surprised that to the present day the owners of this place get high reviews.
My husband and I went in to purchase olive oil, and as he was doing so, the older gentleman sat down to have his lunch. It smelled AHMAZING, and apparently I made enough of a scene acting out "yum" "smellls great' due to my poor poor Italian skills, the sweet man went and got me a fork to try some OF HIS LUNCH and teach me how to say carbonara properly!
My husband was so embarrassed I'd pestered this poor man to share a bite of his lunch but I REGRET NOTHING and it is one of my favorite memories of Naples.
I happened across this old picture from that day and hope they are doing well as they ALL were just lovely!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First we only speak English and Spanish 100% ... I don't remember if the daughter spoke English... I just know that I would go ... all the way back to Naples just for the cheese there... The taste test samples did all the speaking and I just handed my wallet over to my wife. We made the mistake of giving some away as gifts... now everyone wants more... The truffle cheese broke the bank but it was the best cheese I think I have EVER had in my life. As soon as COVID is officially gone ... we will be back!
