★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Briefly this is the best place I’ve ever been to. We went to celebrate our 2 years anniversary with my wife, they had a warm welcome with a nice champagne and roses. The food was divine, we could taste they put all of their hearts in this. After the dinner the chef himself came and congratulated. The waitresses were also amazing, we never had to wait or just ask, they did everything very professional. This is the night we will never forget and I’ll recommend to everyone this amazing place in any case.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You can book a table on the internet, and the menu is also on the internet only, with free wifi on the premises. We had two pasta dishes: maccaroni with gorgonzola (very intensive), spaghetti all'Amatriciana (excellent). Good white wine. For the second course we ordered the pollo in white wine sauce (very good) and a couple of side dishes. The broccoli were decidedly overdone (otherwise fine) and the melanzane: they arrived late, for the last three forks of the chicken. The cook was not in stress: this was at noon, about ten customers only. Therefore, only 4/5.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Second time here. Small cozy place, hands down the best pasta we’ve had in Trieste(maybe ever). Hostess is also extremely sweet and helpful (and speaks English very well). Won’t go anywhere else!

We didn’t know we had to make reservations to get a table for 4 and we just walked in on a Sunday evening to ask for a table as we are tourists and found this place on Google. She was running a busy kitchen yet she told us to come by a bit later and she will give us a table.
The wait was totally worth it. Our group had the Gnocchi, Spaghetti with Garlic and olive oil, carbonara and the tiramisu. All the dishes were perfect and amazing and the wine too was good. We had been travelling across Italy and Croatia for the last 9-10 days and this clearly was the best meal we had during the entire trip.
Maria and the chef himself came to ask him how the food was even after a long tiring day in the kitchen for them. We would surely recommend you visit this place if you are ever in the lovely city of Trieste.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredible host, Maria Eugenia makes the best for you to feel at home, great food and atmosphere! Great dishes from starters to desert, had a great experience. Mozzarella was a wonderful starter, the pasta was perfect, the best carbonara!
Ask for the chocolate cake for desert, light and tasty!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you want a nice spaghetti, this restaurant is highly recommended. Spicy mussel spaghetti really tasty since I’m great fan of chilly dishes. Don’t hesitate to follow the advice from the host, you will find something fits well.
