★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mentre si aspetta il treno vale la pena di spendere qualche minuto ad ammirare questa splendida sala affrescata in puro stile Liberty siciliano. Un vero e proprio museo gratuito di stemmi araldici antichi. Sulla volta compaiono tutti quelli delle 9 province della Sicilia. Tutto intorno alla sala invece vi sono gli stemmi delle più importanti città italiane. Da notare tra queste la presenza di Zara, che all'epoca della costruzione della stazione faceva ancora parte del Regno d'Italia.
 While waiting for the train it is worth spending a few minutes to admire this splendid room frescoed in pure Sicilian Liberty style. A real free museum of ancient coats of arms. On the vault appear all those of the 9 provinces of Sicily. All around the room instead there are the coats of arms of the most important Italian cities. Noteworthy among these is the presence of Zara, who at the time of the construction of the station was still part of the Kingdom of Italy.
