It was built in the fifteenth century, is one of the oldest churches of Chieri, was dedicated to St. William of Aquitaine and belongs to the Brotherhood of the Holy Spirit, who still has the property.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ È una chiesa con una grande storia alle spalle: la costruzione primigenia risale al XIII Secolo ed era il luogo in cui si riuniva il consiglio comunale della Chieri medievale. Subì varie ricostruzioni: nel XV Secolo venne rimaneggiata in stile gotico, alla fine del XVII Secolo fu sottoposta a riadattamenti in senso barocco, infine nel 1840 assunse l'attuale aspetto neoclassico. L'interno ospita un'importante macchina d'altare settecentesca, ma purtroppo la chiesa è spesso chiusa e, in generale, poco valorizzata.
It is a church with a great history behind it: the original construction dates back to the 13th century and was the place where the municipal council of medieval Chieri met. It underwent various reconstructions: in the fifteenth century it was remodeled in the Gothic style, at the end of the seventeenth century it was subjected to readjustments in the Baroque sense, finally in 1840 it took on its current neoclassical appearance. The interior houses an important eighteenth-century altar machine, but unfortunately the church is often closed and, in general, little appreciated.
