Questa seconda volta ho provato la parte ristorante, purtroppo ci siamo trovati in un momento di bassa stagione e l'offerta non era all'altezza dell'esperienza estiva. Quello che abbiamo preso ci ha soddisfatto, molto buono il gelato. Piccolo disappunto per quanto riguarda lo spumone, eccezionale d'estate ma rivelatosi non all'altezza in questa occasione poiché un po' ghiacciato. Perdonati poiché comprendo che in questo periodo non c'è una richiesta sufficiente, alla luce di quanto fosse buono d'estate. This second time I tried the restaurant part, unfortunately we found ourselves in a low season and the offer was not up to the summer experience. What we took satisfied us, the ice cream was very good. Small disappointment with regards to the spumone, exceptional in summer but turned out to be inadequate on this occasion because it is a bit frozen. Forgive me because I understand that in this period there is not enough demand, in light of how good it was in the summer.

Il menù è intrigante e si fa fatica a scegliere tra svariate portate tutte molto promettenti. L'antipasto misto (cotti e crudi) va assolutamente provato. Si mangia molto bene ed il servizio è attento e veloce. Consigliatissimo! Lovely location on the San Saba seafront, the restaurant is furnished with sobriety and good taste. The menu is intriguing and it is hard to choose between several courses all very promising. The mixed appetizer (cooked and raw) should definitely be tried. We eat very well and the service is attentive and fast. Highly recommended!

Sabaka si caratterizza per una cucina territoriale in cui dominano le pietanze a base di pesce per lo più pescato nel mare antistante che guarda le isole Eolie. I piatti sono ben curati e presentati molto bene. Il valore aggiunto è rappresentato dell'orto della fattoria Santa Maria del Bosco situato a pochissimi minuti dal ristorante in località Rodia, da cui il ristorante attinge a piene mani ortaggi e soprattutto un preziosissimo miele di ape nera sicula con cui elabora piatti di territorio. Oltre al ristorante Sabaka offre la possibilità di degustare un'ottima pizza, molto ben fatta e con ingredienti di qualità. Ottimo il rapporto qualità prezzo di tutta la proposta gastronomica. Un discorso a parte va fatto per i gelati fra cui quello al pistacchio e gianduia valgono da soli una passeggiata in questo locale di Santo Saba. Infine una delle cose più suggestive e veramente da non perdere sono gli aperitivi al tramonto in alcune loro postazioni quasi sul mare che guarda le Isole Eolie, che in certe serate rappresentano davvero uno spettacolo imperdibile e indimenticabile. Sabaka is characterized by a territorial cuisine in which dishes based on fish mostly fished in the sea in front of the Aeolian islands dominate. The dishes are well cared for and very well presented. The added value is represented by the vegetable garden of the Santa Maria del Bosco farm located a few minutes from the restaurant in Rodia, from which the restaurant draws heavily on vegetables and above all a precious Sicilian black bee honey with which it prepares local dishes. In addition to the Sabaka restaurant, it offers the opportunity to taste an excellent pizza, very well made and with quality ingredients. Excellent value for money of the whole gastronomic proposal. A separate discussion should be made for the ice creams, among which the pistachio and gianduia ice creams alone are worth a walk in this restaurant in Santo Saba. Finally, one of the most evocative and truly not to be missed things are the aperitifs at sunset in some of their positions almost on the sea overlooking the Aeolian Islands, which on certain evenings truly represent an unmissable and unforgettable show.
