A	Antonio Palumbo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Buona stazione, ben fornita, presenta generalmente un treno a ora in direzione Borgo San Lorenzo e uno verso Firenze. A differenza di molte stazioni limitrofe presenta due banchine per i due binari. Sono presenti sale d'attesa al coperto con erogatore di biglietti, rampe per disabili e panchine al coperto, seppur poche. Il sottopassaggio è piuttosto squallido ma in generale la stazione si presenta bene Good station, well equipped, generally has one train per hour in the direction of Borgo San Lorenzo and one towards Florence. Unlike many neighboring stations, it has two platforms for the two tracks. There are indoor waiting rooms with ticket dispenser, ramps for the disabled and indoor benches, albeit few. The underpass is rather shabby but in general the station is well presented
S	Stelvio Ghibli on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stazione bruttina ma funzionale. Non c'è personale e le informazioni sui treni sono appena sufficienti. È una stazione sempre molto frequentata, si può sempre contare sull'aiuto di qualcuno. L'edificio della stazione ha una sala di attesa e all'esterno ci sono panchine e pensiline quasi nuove che sarebbero giá da sostituire. La macchinetta per i biglietti è lentissima, pare che al suo interno viva uno gnomo che scrive a mano il biglietto e conta le monetine del resto una per una. L'intero processo è frustrante e confusionario, però funziona. Le carte di credito sono accettate. L'orario di acquisto del biglietto non è determinante per la validitá del biglietto finchè non viene timbrato. Da quel momento vale per 4 ore. Acquistare un biglietto online è consigliabile (anche se la procedura è gestita dallo stesso gnomo ed è molto lenta), la validità del biglietto a partire dell'orario di acquisto è di 4 ore. Il parcheggio lungo la statale (gratuito) è quasi sempre occupato da auto dei residenti ma ci sono altri posti gratuti dall'altra parte della strada. C'è un altro parcheggio gratuito dall'altro lato della stazione (lungo binario 2) che è ampio e sempre disponibile (sempre gratuito). Considerato il continuo passaggio di persone e la visibilità è un parcheggio sicuro. Fate attenzione ai giorni del lavaggio strade, che sono indicati da un cartello visibile solo se lo si cerca con attenzione..se ci sono poche auto parcheggiate meglio controllare! Su alcuni treni c'è lo spazio apposito per le biciclette, ma non è facile capire quali siano, in generale se la situazione lo consente è possibile salire con la bicicletta sempre nel rispetto degli spazi e delle altre persone. La stazione è accessibile ai portatori di handicap, ci sono parcheggi appositi di fronte alla stazione e sono presenti rampe di accesso. Meno accessibile è la macchina per i biglietti, meglio acquistarlo online. Il servizio di trasporto di per se funziona bene, anche se la totale mancanza di treni e bus da Firenze in orario serale resta un grosso limite. Il servizio serale attivo più vicino arriva a Pontassieve. Ugly but functional station. There is no staff and the train information is barely sufficient. Buying a ticket online is advisable (even if the procedure is managed by the gnome himself and is very slow), the validity of the ticket from the time of purchase is 4 hours. The free car park along the highway is almost always occupied by residents' cars but there are other free parking spaces across the street. There is another free car park on the other side of the station (along platform 2) which is large and always available (always free). Considering the continuous passage of people and the visibility it is a safe parking. Pay attention to the days of street washing, which are indicated by a visible sign only if you look for it carefully .. if there are few cars parked better check! On some trains there is a special space for bicycles, but it is not easy to understand what they are, in general if the situation allows it it is possible to get on the bicycle always respecting the spaces and other people. The station is accessible to the handicapped, there are special car parks in front of the station and there are access ramps. Less accessible is the ticket machine, better buy it online. The transport service itself works well, even if the total lack of trains and buses from Florence in the evening remains a major limitation. The closest active evening service arrives in Pontassieve.
