If you are going to see the Last Supper, you must stop by here! Have been twice on previous trips to Milano and will be back again in a few weeks!

The store has been in operation at this location for 150 years. All items are made by hand on mechanical equipment on-site by the gentle, soft spoken, helpful proprietor. His English is excellent.

One if the coolest stationery shops EVER, and the owner is super interesting and fun to talk with! Perfect for the wait time between picking your Last Supper tickets and the time to go!

Lovely store with a lovely owner. Beautiful paper products including stationary, notebooks, wrapping paper - most are handmade by the owner. Really enjoyed stopping in here while waiting to go in to see The Last Supper and picked up some beautiful and reasonably priced stationary for myself and as gifts to take home. Owner was so friendly and spoke English very well.

I visited Ruffini Cartolibreria last year, and it was a wonderful memorable experience. The handmade books and stationary are just exquisite, I have never seen anything like them. I only wish I had more room in my suitcase to bring back more to the US. I had a lovely conversation with the owner Luciano Ruffini -- truly a charming man who spoke several languages with impressive skill. Mr. Ruffini I hope you are staying safe and well, and I can't wait to visit you and Milano again!

I found this place after going to see The Last Supper almost 6 years ago (it's right across the street), but I only had enough money to buy a couple of notebooks. The storefront and displays caught my attention right away. I finally had the opportunity to go back to Milan, and I had to revisit this shop. Almost all of the notebooks and stationery are handmade by the owners. Every notebook is beautiful and unique, and they also have calligraphy sets, pens, and other trinkets. I spent €118.50 this time, some on souvenirs for others, but mostly so the notebooks last me until the next time I can go. It's absolutely worth seeking out!

Lots of nice hand made products. Owned by a very lovely couple. If you are going to buy souvenirs in Milan, you should really visit this store.

Amazing boutique store with hand made journals, sketch books and a plethora of calligraphy sets, gifts and souvenirs. We had the pleasure of meeting the charming man who actually made most of the things we bought!
