Ho cenato compagnia della mia famiglia in questo piccolo e tranquillo locale in cui ci si sente a proprio agio e coccolati. I piatti sono squisiti, curati e presentati con sapienza. Ottime le materie prime usate. Il menù presenta sia piatti di carne che di pesce. I dolci sono fantastici. I prezzi adeguati al servizio e al cibo.
An experience to try.
I dined with my family in this small and quiet place where you feel at ease and pampered. The dishes are exquisite, prepared and presented with wisdom. Excellent raw materials used. The menu features both meat and fish dishes. Desserts are great. Prices adequate for service and food.

Vi sono stato a mangiare nel 2019 da provare la cucina di Enzo chef e proprietario prodotti di qualità cucina molto curata dal pane alla pasta dolci tutto fatto in casa. Se vi trovate a castelfiorentino (fi) visitatelo facile da raggiungere da empoli.

I was there to eat in 2019 to try the cuisine of Enzo, chef and owner, quality products, very accurate cuisine from bread to sweet pasta, all homemade. If you are in castelfiorentino (fi) visit it easy to reach from empoli.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Abbiamo provato l'asporto per la prima volta. Esperienza oltre le aspettative. I piatti sono arrivati caldi a casa, giusti per essere serviti. Tutto molto, molto buono. Una menzione particolare per il polpo grigliato che ci ha davvero stupiti. Bello il locale. Speriamo di poterci andare presto a cena seduti.
We tried the takeout for the first time. Experience beyond expectations. The dishes arrived hot at home, just to be served. All very, very good. A special mention for the grilled octopus that really amazed us. Nice place. We hope to be able to sit down for dinner soon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La location non è il massimo,ma la cucina che abbiamo gustato è stata oltre le nostre aspettative.Il menù degustazione di pesce, ottimo:La tartare di tonno è da menzione speciale,un abbinamento equilibrato tra il tonno crudo esaltato l'agrodolce dell'ananas e dall'arancia candita, una sintesi perfetta ,che mi ha fatto pensare alla terra di Sicilia,direi un paesaggio dei sensi.Ottimo anche il "turbante di calamaro su letto di pappa al pomodoro..una sorpresa per me che non sono proprio una estimatrice della "pappa al pomodoro" ,il croccante della pastella ,il dolciastro del calamaro con il morbido del pane insaporito dal dolce acido del pomodoro una specialità.Molto curate le prestazioni dei piatti.
Peccato per la carta dei vini un po' scarsa,ma il personale molto attento e gentile e la qualità del cibo ci ha fatto scordare le "disarmonie".
The location is not the best, but the cuisine we tasted was beyond our expectations.The fish tasting menu, excellent: The tuna tartare is of special mention, a balanced combination of raw tuna enhanced by the sweet and sour of pineapple and candied orange, a perfect synthesis, which made me think of the land of Sicily, I would say a landscape of the senses. Also excellent is the "squid turban on a bed of tomato soup .. a surprise for me that I'm not really an admirer of the "pappa al pomodoro", the crunchy of the batter, the sweetish of the squid with the soft bread flavored with the sweet sour of the tomato a specialty. The performance of the dishes is very accurate.
Too bad for the wine list a bit poor, but the very attentive and kind staff and the quality of the food made us forget the "disharmonies".
