★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the coolest experiences! If you get an opportunity to go DO IT!! The visitors is very interactive and all the missionaries and workers are so kind and helpful! Go learn and feel Christ’s love and why Rome is the one of cradles of Christianity. Also if you get a chance to do an endowment session or another other ordinance the temple is so beautiful inside! Make sure to check online before going because they have different time schedule each day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have a new favorite Roman monument that I will visit whenever possible. We had a memorable and profound time visiting and recommend anyone to take a rest from the typical tourist sights and come to the temple. Ample parking if you travel by car and a short walk from the nearby mall.

The Rome Temple fit the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is a new and beautiful jewel added to the attractions of this incredible part of the world. It is a place of wondrous beauty, and peaceful spirituality.
The grounds around this magnificent building are lovely and really add to the peaceful harmony which is felt here. The buildings around the temple, including the visitors centre, are simple yet lovely.
An absolutely incredible place, which could be considered one of the most beautiful in the world.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved our visit to the Rome temple. The missionaries were so helpful but I only wish they had told us more things about the stained glass that I found out after coming home. Apparently there are things hidden in the stained glass for you to find in the visitors center. The statues of the 12 apostles are amazing!! The grounds are gorgeous and the umbrella trees are so awesome along the sidewalk. Call before you go because we looked online and it said it was opened and we got there and they had no workers for it to be open, that is the temple, the visitors center was open and we looked around. Also it is hard to get a taxi from the temple because of the location. I think it will get better with time as they learn of the location but it was an olive orchard so the gps is off a little bit. We had such a wonderful time and then the 3 girls and my husband went back another day to go inside the temple.

For families traveling with small children, there is a nursery room with places to breastfeed, cribs (2), a changing station, a bathroom, and children's toys. My husband and I came here with our 21 month old while we took turns in the temple and this room made our stay so much easier as there was a place for our
daughter to play and rest without having a room in the residence.
