★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a bitter experience. Please be careful when you go there. Dont try to speak to any people. When we went there, one lady inside the lift, willingly (acted) came forward to help us by showing how to go to the correct platform for trains going to airport. When she was engaging us, the other partner of that lady looted the purse and we had a severe loss. Later when we were talking about this, many people who are there said that this place is full of thieves. Please take care of your belongings when talking to others there. Better avoid going to Rome

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed not far from Trastavere station and used it a few times to commute to historic sites. As I needed to purchase tickets from the office and not the machines I was unfortunate enough to come into contact with a grumpy ticket seller who so appeared to dislike her job that her curt non compassionate behavior made me wonder why she would put herself through the torture that turning up each day must have meant. I must say however that this was not the case with staff at all stations others were polite courteous and quick to return a smile.
People dealing with the public should realise and accept that theirs is a customer service role and that they are the face of the company they represent.

Using the FL1 is much cheaper option compare to express train 8 euro vs 14 euro
Good option for those not in hurry, 6 euro for 16 minutes difference
Good signboard to show which platform to get FL1 to Fiumicino airport. See photo attached.
Lifts are in working order
Only drawback was, based on information from trenitalia page, FL1 should be at 15minutes interval, but it seems to be 30 minutes per train, may be it's Sunday? For those in hurry, pay attention to this.

You can take trains to mani places. Bathrooms by €1. Good anticovid measures. At these moment some repairs are being made. Including some elevators.
