I did a 4-week internship at Rome Translations between September and October 2018. It was a more than positive experience, with the utmost professionalism and friendliness from the staff, characterized by total immersion in the world of work (from translations by actual work on collection and delivery of documents at consulates and embassies). Very helpful and precise with customers. I recommend it to anyone interested in entering the world of translation.

Per quanto riguarda il mio tirocinio, posso solo dire che è stata un'esperienza positiva ed estremamente formativa; innanzitutto perché sono stata affiancata ed integrata in maniera impeccabile, inoltre perché mi è stata data la possibilità di contribuire in prima persona al normale funzionamento dell'agenzia (traducendo testi di varia natura o portando a termine procedure legali e burocratiche presso enti come il tribunale, la prefettura, la procura e i consolati), così da avere una visione più concreta di quella che è la realtà lavorativa di un traduttore freelance o impiegato in un'agenzia. Per me si è trattato di una vera e propria esperienza lavorativa (come dovrebbe essere sempre un tirocinio) che mi ha arricchito di nuove conoscenze, sia dal punto di vista della traduzione sia per quanto riguarda gli aspetti più "pragmatici" del mestiere, e mi ha fatto crescere a livello personale. Detto ciò, 5 stelle più che meritate. I worked in this translation agency for 2 months, so I could see that the staff is very kind and helpful with customers, but above all prepared and efficient. As for my internship, I can only say that it was a positive and extremely formative experience; first of all because I was impeccably supported and integrated, furthermore because I was given the opportunity to contribute personally to the normal functioning of the agency (translating texts of various kinds or completing legal and bureaucratic procedures at institutions such as the court, the prefecture, the prosecutor's office and the consulates), so as to have a more concrete vision of what is the working reality of a freelance translator or employee in an agency. For me it was a real work experience (as it should always be a traineeship) that enriched me with new knowledge, both in terms of translation and in terms of the more "pragmatic" aspects of the job, and it has grown on a personal level. That said, 5 stars more than you deserve.
