Mosso dalla curiositΓ  ho assaggiato i calzagatti (polenta ripiena di fagioli fritta) ed il fritto misto di zoello. Il fritto misto era una commistione tra dolce e salato. Semplicemente spettacolare ! Dalle verdure alla frutta, tutto fritto senza un filo di unto. Doveroso il lambrusco come accompagnamento. Per chi preferisce qualcosa di piΓΉ tradizionale puΓ² provare le tagliatelle fatte in casa.
Moved by curiosity, I tasted the calzagatti (polenta stuffed with fried beans) and the mixed fried zoello. The mixed fry was a mixture of sweet and savory. Simply spectacular! From vegetables to fruit, all fried without a trace of grease. Lambrusco is a must as an accompaniment. For those who prefer something more traditional, you can try the homemade tagliatelle.

Ampio ristorante in posizione strategica vicinanze Castelvetro di Modena. Cucina tradizionale con piatti abbondanti e gustosi. Pranzo domenicale perfetto in tutto, tempi d'attesa leggermente lunghi, ma con locale pieno ci puΓ² stare.. Tutto davvero ottimo, particolare d'eccellenza i tortellini in brodo, una prelibatezza! Servizio buono e atmosfera casareccia. Parcheggi comodi nelle immediate vicinanze.
Large restaurant in a strategic position near Castelvetro di Modena. Traditional cuisine with abundant and tasty dishes. Perfect Sunday lunch in everything, slightly long waiting times, but with a full room it can fit .. All really great, particularly the tortellini in broth, a delicacy! Good service and homemade atmosphere. Convenient parking in the immediate vicinity.

Ho mangiato con amici da Zoello, e non ne siamo rimasti affatto delusi benchΓ© lo stile anni 60/70 del locale, la gestione familiare e il modo in cui vengono serviti e presentati i piatti dΓ  l'idea di essere ad un pranzo dalla nonna piuttosto che in un ristorante. Come portate, abbiamo ordinato del parmigiano fritto, polenta con lardo, gnocchi e crudo e i calzagatti (polenta ripiena di fagioli), e non saprei dire quale fosse il migliore. Come primi abbiamo assaggiato i tortellini in brodo, le rosette e i cappelli di suora. Abbiamo concluso con mascarpone, tenerina al cioccolato e torta tagliatelle. Avrei dato 4 stelle (1 stella in meno per il locale) se non fosse che i tortellini ci sono arrivati un po' freddi, con un capello nel piatto (a fronte di un coperto pagato €2.5). Consigliato per chi ama le buone mangiate dai parenti senza troppi fronzoli intorno.
I ate with friends at Zoello's, and we were not disappointed at all although the 60s / 70s style of the restaurant, the family management and the way in which the dishes are served and presented gives the idea of ​​being at a grandmother's lunch rather than in a restaurant. As courses, we ordered fried parmesan, polenta with lard, gnocchi and raw ham and calzagatti (polenta stuffed with beans), and I can't say which was the best. As first we tasted the tortellini in broth, the rosettes and the nun's hats. We concluded with mascarpone, chocolate tenerina and tagliatelle cake. I would have given 4 stars (1 star less for the restaurant) if it weren't for the fact that the tortellini arrived a little cold, with a hair on the plate (compared to a cover charge of € 2.5). Recommended for those who love good food eaten by relatives without too many frills around.

Locale volutamente retro'.....ampia sala e buon distanziamento tra i tavoli. Piccole accortezze che fanno la differenza come il parmigiano reggiano grattugiato in mono porzioni o il pane nel sacchetto ti fanno capire il lori pensiero sulla pulizia, igiene e freschezza. MenΓΉ tradizionale e buona cucina, buono anche la qualitΓ  e il prezzo. Sono andata per sentito dire ci tornerΓ² perchΓ© si mangia bene
A deliberately retro place ..... large room and good spacing between the tables. Small precautions that make the difference such as grated Parmesan cheese in single portions or bread in the bag make you understand their thoughts on cleanliness, hygiene and freshness. Traditional menu and good food, also good quality and price. I went for hearsay I'll be back because the food is good

We went to this restaurant tonight as it was conveniently located next to our hotel. What a great surprise, the pasta was excellent, the best we had in 10 days travel throughout Italy. We recommend the tri pasta so you can try a little bit of different homemade ravioli. The lasagna and tiramisu was also excellent. Too bad we dont have a cooler to buy some fresh pasta to bring home to France. This is a friendly family hostal that also has a kids room to play for small kids, which our two boys enjoyed while waiting for their dinner.
