L’antipasto che prende il nome dal locale é vario e comprende anche una pepata di cozze e due ostriche crude, oltre a insalata di polpo, polpettine di baccalà, alici marinate, un’ottima fetta di salmone affumicato e pesciolini gratinati al forno. Davvero buonissimi gli gnocchettini al pesto con vongole veraci: perfetta la cottura, la consistenza degli gnocchetti e il condimento. Da non mancare la grigliata di pesce: abbondante e tutto pesce fresco e morbido. Torneremo sicuramente altre volte! We had lunch outdoors in this small restaurant in Catanzaro. All very good in an unpretentious setting. The appetizer that takes its name from the place is varied and also includes a peppered mussel and two raw oysters, as well as octopus salad, cod meatballs, marinated anchovies, an excellent slice of smoked salmon and baked fish au gratin. The gnocchettini al pesto with clams are really delicious: the cooking, the consistency of the gnocchi and the seasoning are perfect. Do not miss the grilled fish: abundant and all fresh and soft fish. We will definitely come back other times!

L'antipasto Porta Marina - quello della casa - offre un mix di crudo e cotto a base di pesce che da solo sarebbe valso un pranzo: salmone, spada, cozze, polpo, tonno ... Tutto molto buono e abbondate, di fatto le sei/sette portate di cui di compone basterebbero per pranzare! Buonissimo il primo di gnocchi con salsa di rucola e vongole veraci. Freschissimo il pesce che arriva direttamente dalla pescheria dei titolari che, così, riescono ad offrire una materia prima di ottima qualità. Bene il dolce. Qualità-prezzo ok! Personale e titolari simpatici disponibili a intrattenersi in una piacevole conversazione, li ringrazio per il liquore che mi hanno gentilmente offerto, fresco si è lasciato assaporare in tutti i suoi sapori. Una scoperta che allieta il gusto! I stopped for a "quick" business lunch that I "contained" in an appetizer, a first course and a dessert. The Porta Marina appetizer - the one of the house - offers a mix of raw and cooked fish that alone would have been worth a lunch: salmon, swordfish, mussels, octopus, tuna ... All very good and abundant, in fact the six / seven courses of which it is made up would be enough for lunch! The first course of gnocchi with rocket sauce and clams is delicious. The fish that comes directly from the owners' fishmonger is very fresh and, thus, they are able to offer a raw material of excellent quality. Good dessert. Price-quality ok! Friendly staff and owners willing to entertain themselves in a pleasant conversation, I thank them for the liqueur they kindly offered me, fresh and allowed to be savored in all its flavors. A discovery that gladdens the taste!
