It's busy because the standard of food is really good - in particular the special menu of pasta dishes made on the premises. Lots of great fresh fish options too. The desserts are spectacular - made in the restaurant kitchen - over a series of visits over the last few years I have tried most of them!

The waiters are kind and professional and the menu, while it's not one of the widest you can find, offers a variegated choice of dishes. The fried fish is served in very big portions (and the quality of the fish is good). Only flaws are the waiting times that are a bit long and the portions of the first course dishes that are not as satisfying as the second course dishes. While some things may seem pricey I'd say that's worth it

A good price - quality ratio food wise. Initially we thought we had finally found our new favorite place to eat in Eraclea Mare. But in the end we just felt uncomfortable, as if having been politely asked to leave during the whole meal. We have no idea why; maybe they needed the table, maybe we or our children did not follow the expected etiquette, or maybe it was because we did not order any wine and just had a light dinner for only 70 euro. No idea. After the food came we felt increasingly observed. The waiters were hawkishly eying our progress with the food - not discreetly from a distance but with turning heads every time they passed. It ended with them removing my daughters plate, before she had finished her pizza, still holding a large slice in her hand. It is really too bad.
