Pizza was delicious. The food took more than half an hour to arrive and when we requested more glasses for the wine we waited another 20 minutes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They do have great food here however the wait it usually quite long - less of wait if you order to go thought.
Also, for vegans/vegetarians: the pizza dough contains milk, and the dough used for some of the pizzas also contain lard.
They do offer gluten free pizza dough.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thoroughly enjoyed by all! We were seated quickly, staff friendly, a little bit of a wait for the food but it was worth it! The pizza was beautiful, the salmon and cream cheese pasta was to die for and two generous portions of smoking hot fries! Empty plates all round! So tasty, and such reasonable prices! Would come again any day! ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pizzas good and well priced. Quick service, but so many smokers around you, that food could not be enjoyed. Because the place is also a pub, you get a lot of customers coming just for a drink and a smoke. It would be better to have one non-smoking and another separate smoking area outside, so food could be enjoyed. So bad that I had to leave without finishing meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We love coming to La Lira's for the chip pizzas, they feel like such a novelty. Lots of tables with benches for seating, really nice if you get one outside so you can watch the square and the town around. Inside is nicely decorated too though, with old-style lira banknotes on the walls and a small play area for younger children.
The service tends to be a bit slower compared to other restaurants in the area, but the pizzas are great (and the nutella crepe), and is always a popular restaurant for busy nights in the town, like the fashion show.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Right in the centre of Bagni di Lucca, with parking right outside and buzzy Bar Roma next door. Great pizzas and pasta, very drinkable house wine. Watch the world go by - there's often something happening in the summer right outside.
