Piatti abbondanti/giusti e squisiti soprattutto i dolci fatti in casa consiglio con i frutti di bosco specialità di Sestola. Le persone dello staff sono amichevoli e pet friendly. Tornerò di sicuro. In two people, polenta with four cheeses + tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms + water and two desserts and two coffees in mid-August = 34 euros. Plentiful / fair and exquisite dishes especially the homemade desserts I recommend with the berries specialty of Sestola. The people of the staff are friendly and pet friendly. I'll be back for sure.

Le porzioni sono abbondanti ma ce l'ho fatta a finirle (quasi) perche erano buonissime, ho assaggiato uno spicchio della pizza ed ha un impasto incredibile. bella soffice e non troppo sottile o spessa. I porcini difficilmente mi piacciono perche non tutti sanno far risaltare il loro gusto ma qui ho rischiato e mi è andata molto bene perche etano strepitosi. antipasti buoni, e la tagliata uguale, nient'altro da dire (il tutto più un dolce fatto in casa e l'acqua intorno ai 50€, prezzo molto onesto). Evidenzio solamente la professionalità dello staff e ho apprezzato il fatto che sorridevano e rispondevano con gentilezza. Se faceva un po' più caldo ci saremmo seduti fuori visto che è in pieno centro di Sestola e la rocca è in piena mostra. Spero di ritornarci! In 2 (+ a dog) we had pizza and tortelloni with porcini, plus appetizers, gnocchi, tigelle and cold cuts with cheeses, and I as a second course with tagliata di angus. The portions are generous but I managed to finish them (almost) because they were very good, I tasted a slice of the pizza and it has an incredible dough. nice fluffy and not too thin or thick. I hardly like porcini mushrooms because not everyone knows how to bring out their taste but here I took a risk and it went very well because they are amazing. good appetizers, and the cut the same, nothing else to say (all plus a homemade dessert and water around € 50, very fair price). I only highlight the professionalism of the staff and I appreciated the fact that they smiled and responded with kindness. If it was a bit warmer we would have sat outside as it is in the center of Sestola and the fortress is in full display. Hope to go back!

Abbiamo ordinato 1 antipasto (culatello con porcini freschi), 1 polenta con capriolo e 1 tagliata com radicchio. Di contorno altri porcini. Tutto molto buono, porzioni giuste e personale simpatico e disponibile. Location carina e caratteristica. Con Coca, birra e caffè pagato 53 euro. Un prezzo giusto per un ristorante non scontato, interessante e molto consigliato. Had lunch here on August 12th. After a short wait they settled inside but the temperature was still very pleasant. We ordered 1 appetizer (culatello with fresh porcini), 1 polenta with venison and 1 tagliata with radicchio. Other porcini mushrooms as a side dish. All very good, right portions and nice and helpful staff. Nice and characteristic location. With Coke, beer and coffee paid 53 euros. A fair price for a restaurant that is not discounted, interesting and highly recommended.

Una delle polente più buone che ho mai assaggiato. Il prezzo ci ha lasciati un po' sbalorditi per come era poco caro visto la qualità del cibo. Nel resto il ristorante ha un aspetto rustico e accogliente, e lo staff (sopratutto la ragazza) ci ha accolti con cordialità. Esperienza non male. Visited this restaurant in October. My husband and I had the polenta with porcini and polenta with 4 cheeses. One of the best polenta I've ever tasted. The price left us a bit amazed at how cheap it was given the quality of the food. The rest of the restaurant has a rustic and welcoming aspect, and the staff (especially the girl) welcomed us with cordiality. Not bad experience.

Gnocco buono ma non nella tipicità modenese, portata di due tigelle a testa,scarse di qualità,ma non nella massa.forse sono così nella sola tipicità di Sestola : grandi e molto compatte poco lievitate. Excellent venue and service. Gnocco e tigelle (In Frignano they are called Crescentine) with meats and cheeses all at a good price. Gnocco good but not in the typical Modenese style, served by two tigelle each, poor in quality, but not in mass.

Veramente buona la zuppa inglese non ho fatto in tempo a fotografarla !!! Very nice tavern, you eat well and spend the right amount, you can see the quantities in the picture with a dessert and 1/2 I of wine for about forty euros recommended. The trifle is really good I didn't have time to photograph it !!!
