★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While driving from Pisa to San Gimignano we wanted to stop for lunch somewhere in the country and happened upon this gem.
What a delightful restaurant with wonderful authentic food, the best bolognese I have ever eaten!
The place is very nice and the people/service was outstanding.
Highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We arrived in town at about 2pm. This was the only place we found still serving lunch, so wasn't expecting much. Food was really good, staff very homely & wine pour extremely generous ?. The pizza in the photo is their 3-in-1. It's huge! Also had dinner here on our last night in town.

Staff friendly but overwhelmed.
The place was full, better reserve.
Too bad.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was delicious and it was made very quickly, so I'd rate it a 4. I would rate the service 1 star because of how often we had to remind them of our drinks, our bread, and the bill. When it was time to pay, they didn't let us know that we had to pay at the front desk so we waited an extra 15 minutes for one of the waitresses to come to our table. The average was therefore 3 stars. I would go there again if it wasn't so busy

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ DELICIOUS truffle pasta with shaved truffles on top. Steak with mushrooms was divine. Stayed at the Hilton Grand Vacations nearby and absolutely loved eating here.
