★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In 46 anni di soggiorno in Calabria non mi è mai capitato di mangiare male. Questa sera abbiamo ordinato pizze antipasti e pasta.
Le linguine allo scoglio piene di sabbia, pizza bruciata e senza gusto, acqua naturale in bottiglia calda, mancanza di ingredienti per dei piatti.
Le costine crude, poi abbiamo saputo che erano state tolte dal freezer e cucinate direttamente.
Le portate non sono arrivate insieme, persino le pizze in due momenti diversi con un lasso di tempo non indifferente, l uno dall' altro.
Ci siamo seduti alle 21.30. Alle 23.40 un piatto di pasta non era ancora stato portato. Ci siamo alzati per andare a pagare e il piatto è arrivato. Ovviamente lo abbiamo rimandato indietro.
Ci siamo lamentati del servizio e della qualità pessima e siamo stati aggrediti e trattati a pesci in faccia.
Usciti dal locale c'era una pattuglia di carabinieri, abbiamo raccontato cosa fosse successo e la loro risposta è stata: Non ci venga più!!!!!
L'arroganza che ho visto stasera mi fa vergognare di essere calabrese!!!!!
In 46 years of living in Calabria I have never had a bad meal. Tonight we ordered antipasti and pasta pizzas.
The linguine allo scoglio full of sand, burnt and tasteless pizza, still hot bottled water, lack of ingredients for dishes.
The raw ribs, then we learned that they had been removed from the freezer and cooked directly.
The courses did not arrive together, even the pizzas at two different times with a considerable amount of time, one after the other.
We sat down at 9.30pm. At 11.40pm a plate of pasta had not yet been brought. We got up to pay and the dish arrived. We obviously sent it back.
We complained about the bad service and quality and got mugged and treated to fish in the face.
Leaving the room there was a patrol of carabinieri, we told what had happened and their response was: Don't come there anymore !!!!!
The arrogance I saw tonight makes me ashamed of being Calabrian !!!!!

A lot of courtesy and honesty on the part of the owner and very welcoming and friendly all employees. You can enjoy fabulous pizzas and for me the very tasty and well cooked mixed fry. I hope to be back soon .... You are very nice.

Ci siamo fermati alla trattoria Barbecue per il nostro anniversario di matrimonio. A parte la grigliata mista, cotta bene e di pesce fresco, il primo (ravioli di pesce allo scoglio) risentiva delle influenze culinarie francesi anni ’80, quando si usava mischiare sugo e panna nelle preparazioni (consiglio di aggiornarsi e offrire una cucina meno pesante e datata). Deludente l’antipasto “barbecue” che, per via del nome, e per il costo (18 euro) mi aspettavo ricco di pietanze ai ferri. Invece il solito affettato di salumi vari con formaggi, sott’oli come quelli in barattolo dal salumiere, crocchette di patate e di riso (simili a quelle che si trovano al banco dei surgelati di ogni città). Non avevano dolci, solo gelato tartufo. Una tristezza. Prezzi medio alti.
Catering dated 80s
We stopped at the barbecue restaurant for our wedding anniversary. Apart from the mixed grill, cooked well and fresh fish, the first (fish ravioli with rock) was affected by the French culinary influences of the 80s, when it was used to mix sauce and cream in the preparations (I recommend updating and offering a less heavy cooking and dated). Disappointing the appetizer "barbecue" that, because of the name, and for the cost (18 euros) I expected rich of grilled dishes. Instead the usual sliced salami with various cheeses, sott'oli such as those in jars from the delicatessen, potato and rice croquettes (similar to those found at the frozen food counter of each city). They had no sweets, only truffle ice cream. A sadness. Average high prices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Si mangia molto bene e prezzo giusto. Ottimi i ravioli di cernia ma anche gli spaghetti all'astice niente male! Pesce fresco e gentilezza dello staff. I tartufi poi.. Una specialità del luogo... Niente male. BRAVI!!
The food is very good and the price is fair. Excellent grouper ravioli but also spaghetti with lobster not bad! Fresh fish and kindness of the staff. Then the truffles .. A local specialty ... Not bad. GOOD !!

My family and I are really good gourmets, we love to eat well and I must say that in this place we cannot complain. Great and plentiful food, very friendly staff. We will definitely go there other times.
