We had a lovely dinner here. It is also great for gluten free (lots of options, including pizza with the best pizza bases I have had).

The food is awesome and the quantity is exactly what expected if not more. The menu is rich and vary through meat and fish, sometimes pairing both of them together to create some fantastic dishes. While you are eating you can enjoy the lake and the Montisola Island for an amazing view.

I have to give them only two stars as one the waitress (blond short hair, with glasses and a bit old (there is other waitress with the same characteristics but younger and she was nice)) was rude. When we arrived to the restaurant she didn't even look at us and she just passed near us without saying a word. We approached the counter to ask for a table to another waitress and this one sent us to the rude one and she again was rude talking to us and looking us in a bad way. Then at the table, we had to call her to take our order cause we waited for her 15 minutes at least and no service at all to us; she didn't bring us water but the rest of the tables she did and several times. Everytime we needed something we had to call her as she was not even looking at us. Very bad service. The others waitresses were good. The food and price good. And the view awesome. But I'm afraid I want repeat because of her. And the charge you 2.5€ per person, for the service, I guess. And 1.5€ for tap water. ??

Visited twice. The staff are friendly, the pizza is excellent, with extremely good dough. Most of the staff speak some English, I also heard reasonable German spoken. Nevertheless, only about half of the customers on our visits were foreigners - the place is evidently popular with locals too. The location is great, with a panoramic view of the lake. On our first visit (on a Sunday), we weren't immediately able to get a table outside as we hadn't reserved. The staff happily moved us once a table freed up. On our second visit (a Wednesday), things were much less busy and a table outside would have been no problem were it not for the rain. The downsides: the wine list is short and the wines we tried were unimpressive. The service on our first visit (weekend, fairly full) was pretty slow.

It may be a question of local interpretation in Italy but as the place name included "Pizzeria" we would have expected to find...well...pizza. Instead no, no pizza at lunch, at least not on Sunday. Instead a very limited menu from where we chose the few things that were without meat - our mistake that we did not get up and leave right then and there. What I think was one of the owners (judging by the pictures) said something along the lines of "I could check with the cook about making pizza but it's really busy" which was sounded more like "I really wish you don't want to go for pizza". I guess it was meant as a polite refusal but it came out differently. Anyway... The pasta with mushrooms and pumpkin sauce was ok-ish but my falafel...I guess it was the supermarket kind (serves me right for ordering falafel at an Italian restaurant I guess) and at 11.5 euros that is kinda pricey for Sale Marasino. Honestly 6 euros of coperto also seemed a bit much, I think we paid less in Piazza della Loggia. The view was very nice though and there was ample parking on site - just be aware that the road to get there from the railroad crossing is short but steep and narrow. We get the point about having limited menu options at busy times - and it was busy! - but maybe add a warning or change the title to "Ristorante (and maybe) Pizzeria". We drove there especially for the pizza that they so proudly present on their website. And about the website, no mention about this pizza-only-in-the-evening thing there either. So a bit of a disappointment there, since the place is nice.

It is our favourite restaurant for many years. I love it. Now it is situated in a new modern building with a great panoramic views of the lake ISEO & mountains. The dishes are very delicious! Last time I had lunch there a few days ago. In the evening I couldn't eat anything. I was really full. EVERYONE WILL BE SATISFIED! IT IS WORTH VISITING! ???

We arrived and the waitress rudely informed us that we couldn't order anything to eat before 7pm. The service was extremely inattentive and only busy setting the tables. We were seated on the terrace and then when a thunderstorm came up, everyone ran around like they were on fire, we were standing in the middle of the restaurant, had no table and were ignored for over 30 minutes. Even when we wanted to pay, the waitress ran away again. Even if the food was good (therefore 2 stars), I don't want to have to go through this experience again.
