Best Italian restaurant in Italia

S	Sebastian Johansson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hidden gem next to Lake Garda. With a view that very few places can beat and with the best food I've eaten in a very long time. I ordered grilled squid with burrata, cream from peppers, capers and oregano. It was the best squid I have ever eaten. Perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned. Couldn't have asked for more. I also tried the Tagiolini with porcini and black truffles. The pasta was perfectly cooked and tasted simply amazing. The service we got was top notch. Quick and reliable. It might be connected to the fact that the restaurant only had 3 occupied tables when we arrived, but never the less very satisfied. We will be sure to come back.

We sat in a chair in the café area and waved twice at the the waiter within 10 minutes, who ignored us without much subtlety. I walked to the bar, another waitress addressed me without a smile, saying the café area was only for the guests of the restaurant. First, I don't believe people sit both at their table and in the café area; second, why not suggesting that to us on our arrival? I didn't give up and asked for a table for two, the same waitress looked at her watch with a frown and eventually sat us. What a struggle for 2 glasses of wine and some snacks. Can't recommend.

The card was not shortened and the food was no less unbelievably fresh. A taste explosion of aromas. Simply incredible and unique. The prices are absolutely fair and worth every single cent. In summer, the view from the terrace must be even more incredible. We will be back.

The view from the restaurant is quite beautiful, the waiters friendly and the food good enough - BUT it was also not anything special in the end. For these kinds of prices, either the food needs to be great, or the portions fair, and neither was the case here. Our antipasto was 3 cold scampi for €18.00, and they tasted like nothing. The pasta was exaggeratedly al dente, and although the sauces were nice, the portions were again very small. I don't mind paying more for a dinner that is an experience. But if the experience makes me question whether it is worth the money with each bite, I am already not having a good time. In the end, we got a pizza from a Pizzeria on our way home because we were still hungry. We paid 1/7th of the price and felt happier about it than any of the dishes here made us feel. Maybe we weren't the right clientel. Or maybe the name of the restaurant just fits. I hope this review isn't taken as an offense, but rather honest critique. A bit more pasta, and the dish feels fuller. A little less focus on the visuals and more on the taste of the meal would be worth it. Sprinkles of sauce and pepper on your plate are nice, but I'm not coming here for the art.
P	Poppy Bleu on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful and special place! The view is amazing, the food of the best quality. I'd say it is an upscale restaurant with an easy going atmosphere. Great for people who love seafood, fish and meat. The portion size could be a bit bigger ;)
