Il cibo ottimo, abbiamo mangiato una frittura di calamari sublime, molto buoni anche i primi, io e mio figlio abbiamo preso delle orecchiette mare e monti, mia moglie dei ravioli di pesce, mentre mia figlia una trevigiana; quest’ultima la classificherei un gradino sotto le altre due.
Un po’ salato il conto, sinceramente mi aspettavo un po’ meno, ma la qualità chiaramente giustifica il prezzo.
A little outside the town, climbing towards the mountain, the splendid, panoramic, well-kept location. The food was excellent, we ate a sublime fried squid, the first courses were also very good, my son and I had orecchiette mare e monti, my wife a fish ravioli, while my daughter a Treviso; I would classify the latter one step below the other two.
The bill was a bit high, honestly I expected a little less, but the quality clearly justifies the price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went for a Saturday lunch with my parents and in-laws. We had a table outside on the terrace, surrounded by beautiful plants and greenery, and with a wonderful view of the ocean. We ordered both the fish and the meat fixed menus, in addition to two kids' menus. Our food was quite good, portion sizes were fair, and the pasta from the meat menu was very tasty . Dessert was nice and the coffee was good. Service was friendly. The grounds were beautiful. The only complaint I had were workers who were using power tools during lunch, and we had to almost yell at one another to be heard. When I requested that they stop working during lunch service, the waiter told me he would see what he could do. The power tools disappeared during lunch but apparently they didn't have the good sense to wait until we were finished coffee and dessert to start up again. Unfortunately something like this has the power to leave a bad taste in your mouth when you choose a restaurant and drive an hour and a half for a special lunch. The owner of the restaurant should either: close for the period of time when doing the work, seat customers well away from such work so that it isn't a disturbance, or do the work during periods of the day when meal service is not taking place. The fact that the owner did not take such measures shows a lack of business smarts. Too bad... because it ruined an otherwise decent lunch!
