★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were taking a drive up into the mountains just to explore and we got hungry. Just happened to stumble on to La Trave by sheer chance. OMG. What an unexpected pleasure. Beautiful views, lovely outdoor and indoor space. Rustic, panoramic, spacious, romantic, family friendly. The food and the service was all top notch. My wife’s steak was even better than my ribs, which were fantastic. The Bolognese pasta was delicious and, the kicker, the absolute best tiramisu I have EVER had! I do not know how this meal could have been better. (Yes, prices reasonable, too). Grazie!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very comfortable restaurant with a cute, quaint atmosphere. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating, often remembering customers who have visited in the past. The food was delicious, with great selections from local specialties to common comfort foods. The view from the restaurant is also spectacular.
The only negative part of our experience here was that they hosted a birthday party of very loud and vulgar people in their early twenties in the same room as we were sitting in, which disturbed our meal very much. This group was loudly cursing and blaspheming, generally causing a large commotion that the restaurant staff did nothing about. Other than this, the restaurant was fantastic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We found this place by chance because many restaurants in the lake were closed at the end of October, a little drive up to the mountains but absolutely worth it - the most delicious local specialities with awesome presentation. Try tiramisu with a little bit of a twist!
