★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice view, I think one of the best. The waiter was very strange, we want some olive oil and parmesan cheese, but he react very confused and said parmesan and olive oil on this food? The food was terrible. No sauces and the pasta with Seafood was only with mussel, no prawn no shrimp no calamari. The Pasta Vongole was also with out any taste. If you want to drink some drinks with a good view, it's a perfect place, if you want to eat original Italian food this will be the wrong place

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a friendly welcome as we entered the restaurant and we were led to the terrace. Gorgeous view of Positano and we had arrived in time for a spectacular sunset. Our server made us feel welcome and was very attentive throughout of the course of our meal! Food was delicious! Wine was perfect for our meal. We enjoyed this restaurant on our first night of our visit, that we ate here 3x during our stay in Praiano!

We ordered the octopus salad and the fried seafood and the mushroom pasta. The wines were terrific too!

On our first night on the coast, my husband and I decided to try Ristorante La Dolce Vista and this is going to be hard to top. When I say the views here are breathtaking I truly mean it - I was gobsmacked when they led us to our balcony table overlooking the sea. Easily one of the best views in the city.
The staff were so welcoming and wonderful. They were incredibly friendly and knowledge about the food and the area as a whole. We felt so well attended to and taken care of during our meal.
And the food itself was SPECTACULAR. The charcuterie board had some of the best prosciutto and freshest mozzarella we’ve ever had. My husband had the risotto and I had the swordfish and it was delicious! I think my favorite part about the way the food was prepared was that it was simple and not over seasoned or over complicated, which really helped show off the quality and integrity of the ingredients they used. We ended the night with a homemade lemonchello from fresh picked ingredients in their garden - it was equally tasty and strong!
What a wonderful experience we had at Ristorante La Dolce Vista - I highly recommend it to any visitors of the area!
