★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited once and revisited the next day. Their tortellini, omg, every bite brings a little firework in my head. The rabbit was also amazing. The eggplant side dish was crazily good the first time however a bit dry the second time. Not so big portions, a bit on the expensive side, but believe me, the quality of food is worth it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had dinner here last night and already making a reservation to go again before my time in Bologna is over. The staff was super friendly, my table was ready with a reserved sign as I arrived, the staff spoke English very well (although i love practicing my Italian), and the food was incredible. I highly recommend!
My meal:
1/2 li of house red wine
Tagliatelle al ragù to start
Filetto di manzo all’aceto balsamico (beef filet with balsamic sauce/glaze with roasted potatoes)
Afogato for dessert

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I loved this place, and in my opinion, it’s seriously underrated! The interior is adorable... so quaint! The people who work there are so kind as well. I was eating alone, and felt so comfortable and at home.
The ragu pasta was delicious, and the wine was cheap (and portions large).
I would highly recommend this place. A nice break from more famous, tourist it spots in town!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 3.5. The pastas were good here, the insalata the same. Nice rustic dishes that were tasty and nicely done. The grilled vegetables were a bit light on, but. The wine was good but like the food a little on the pricier side. Service was ok but variable. Nice location on the back street right near the towers. The air cooling arrangements in the restaurant in the midst of the biggest heatwave here for 16 years were a bit odd. The aircon was on full blast but the doors were fully open so the aircon had absolutely no effect! The air was therefore very warm indeed. It tested us and the staff. We had a good time but not a great one here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was recommended to come here by the hosts of our accommodation. What an amazing meal and at very reasonable prices! Tinello is run by a couple (Davide and his wife) and they provided a very welcoming atmosphere. Come here if you are looking for a good meal with good company. We spent 70 Euros for 1 starter, 2 pastas, 1 main, 1 dessert and 50cl of wine.
