A	Angelo D'Argenio on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eravamo ritornati in questo ristorante perché la qualità del pesce ed il servizio erano molto buoni, purtroppo hanno fatto di tutto per perdere queste qualità: cozze immangiabili, alcune pietanze salatissime (e non solo nel prezzo), servizio pessimo e gestione del cliente da trattoria di quart'ordine (il proprietario ad un certo punto del pranzo è del tutto sparito), per non parlare del prezzo: 10 percorsi di antipasti e 10 assaggi di un tris di primi, 2 bottiglie di vino e 2 di coca al modico prezzo (si fa per dire) di 381 € (e siamo ad Atripalda e non a Positano) We returned to this restaurant because the quality of the fish and the service were very good, unfortunately they did everything to lose these qualities: inedible mussels, some very salty dishes (and not only in the price), bad service and customer management from trattoria di fourth order (the owner at one point of the lunch is completely gone), not to mention the price: 10 courses of appetizers and 10 tastings of a trio of first courses, 2 bottles of wine and 2 of coca at a modest price (yes so to speak) of 381 € (and we are in Atripalda and not in Positano)

Consigliatissimo ed ECCELLENTE!! I often come to Atripalda for work. Hostaria dei Matti is an unmissable event, simply fantastic for those who love fish like me. Nothing to say. Il pesce è, a mio avviso, cucinato benissimo: antipasti, primi, secondi...ma una menzione speciale va alla frittura e alla tartare di tonno. Il proprietario è simpaticissimo e alla mano, prezzi onesti. Pochi metri più su, sempre dello stesso proprietario, un altro locale, "La Sfisheria", che propone street food di pesce: panini, arancini, frittatine, baccalà and chips, ecc. ecc.. Merita! My reference as a fish restaurant in Avellino and its province !! I have dined at the Hostaria several times already and have always been very very satisfied. The fish is, in my opinion, cooked very well: appetizers, first courses, second courses ... but a special mention goes to the frying and the tuna tartare. The owner is very nice and easy-going, fair prices. A few meters further up, again by the same owner, another place, "La Sfisheria", which offers street food of fish: sandwiches, arancini, omelettes, cod and chips, etc. etc .. It deserves!

Il servizio è amichevole, le porzioni abbondanti, il pesce di stagione e freschissimo. Il menu varia in base al pescato e la scelta è sempre ampia. Non ho mai mangiato così bene il pesce neppure nei più rinomati luoghi di mare. La versione street food propone fritti in tempura e panini con polpo fritto, filetto di pesce spada, polipetti alla Luciana, ecc. Marco è un oste in piena regola e vi saprà consigliare il vostro viaggio nei sapori e negli odori del mare.... Comfort food of fish.
