β β β β β I can never get enough of I Cantoni! I have been eating here so many times and everytime is better! I am lucky as I have family living nearby Longiano, therefore everytime I visit them, my wife and I pay a visit to Danilo and Teresa at I Cantoni.
I believe to have tried pretty much every dish in the menu, though my favourites are: the crosotoni misti and the piadina with prosciutto and squaquerone as appetizers, as main I really love how they cook the tagliata steak served with cherry tomatoes, arugola and aged pecorino di fossa cheese; also, when we are really hungry, we sometimes share an awesome plate of tagliatelle in meatsauce, which, if you are lucky to have a tour of the kitchen, you'll see are still made by the nonna (grandma) freshly everyday! As dessert, I love to have the pecorino di fossa cheese serve with the classic fig and apple chutney known as "Saveur", or the creamy croccante dessert.
Everything can be accompanied by an excellent glass (or litre) of red wine from the Spalletti winery located in the hills next by.
In the summer you can sit in the gorgeous terrace, eating "al fresco" and enjoying the amazing views of the hills.
Great and warm service, excellent food, great location and atmosphere: what else?
Of course: the homemade limoncello liquer offered by Danilo and Teresa at the end of the meal!
Visit this restaurant once and you'll find yourself craving for more!

β β β β β Excellent restaurant with many vegetarian options and good service. The English menu card is very convenient for non-fluent Italian tourists and the price vs quality is excellent. Parking is very close by.

β β β β β A great restaurant with a fine selection of old favorites like the gran crostini and excellent cheese selection, fine meats (steak, rabbit) and pastas as well as new ideas from time to time. Yummy deserts and a good wine selection too. Nice setting on outdoor terrace in the old town part of Longiano. Highly recommended.

β β β β β Perfect! Menu only in Italian (which is a good thing in itself), so understood half of what I ordered, but everything was delicious. Perfect al dente pasta carbonara with calamareti. A steak tartare (with truffle!) which was excellent. Great wine list.
