★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Locale di altri tempi, piuttosto datato, anche essendo una trattoria. Menù semplice e tutto sommato abbastanza vario. Qualità discreta, prezzo forse un po' eccessivo. Peccato per il personale (cameriera) assolutamente sempre scortese, spazientito e maleducato, dal momento in cui siamo entrati, fino al conto finale. Esperienza spiacevole

Remained the same since the 60s, historic venue. Bei first, among the second stands the trolley of roasts and boiled meats. Very friendly family management. Recommended

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quando si entra si torna indietro nel tempo alle vecchie trattorie di una volta. Cibo ottimo e prezzi onesti. La cosa che non ha prezzo è la compagnia del sig. Nicola, presenza discreta ad ogni portata. Assolutamente da provare!
When you enter, you go back in time to the old trattorias of the past. Great food and fair prices. The thing that is priceless is the company of Mr. Nicola, discreet presence at every course. A must try!

Traditional trattoria with typical Reggio dishes. The boiled meat cart is excellent. Rustic decor and adequate bill, although it depends a little on who makes it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ To dine at Nicola's became a family tradition and it totally feel like home: the place is run by the jolly chef Nicola and his friendly family. The typical food served there is hand made and delicious (try the Roast cart with many different roasts). Going there is a straight jump into the good old tradition and atmosphere of "Emilia".
