F	Freya on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately we had a very negative experience with the service here. We had booked a table through our hotel for our first night at lake Como. Even though the weather app predicted rained, we were not placed under an umbrella on the terrace. We ordered our wine (a bit expensive but good) and our pizza (good quality), and it started raining. The young servers didn’t know what to do and it was raining on our food. Not wanting to be impolite, we didn’t move ourselves but asked to be moved under an umbrella or inside. They then moved us inside. We were all alone there, in the dark and they gave us the wordt seat in the place (directly under the airco, next to the kitchen, far away from the windows). We had to ask twice to please turn on some lights. The first person didn’t understand us and turned off the airco instead, the second waiter laughed and said “it’s not dark, it’s romantic!!”. It was terrible. We didn’t know whether to laugh or cry at this horrible service. One waiter came to check on us and asked if we wanted to be moved back outside, we said yes under an umbrella… he gave a long explanation about how the umbrella’s don’t stop all the rain even though it had stopped raining altogether in the meantime. We then had to keep eating inside, all alone. I’m sure most of this was a misunderstanding (due to young staff/lack of English) but it was really horrible for us to spend our first night at lake Como like this. We ate our pizza as quickly as possible and left. Two stars because the pizza was good. Please train your staff better :(

It was our first time having pizzocheri and it was definitely not the last time! Also the selection of wines is impressive and well chosen! Thanks for a absolut great evening!

Very pleased to see local people frequenting this restaurant but but but i was very disappointed when leaving the restaurant i raised a simple information question and was told by the Maitre'd or Manager behind the bar counter , QUOTE roughly ' it all depends what price the bottle of wine is then it will be poured by the waiter at the table after opening the bottle and pouring the first glass' ????UNQUOTE. Tourist will leave cash tips if the tourists are provided with good service from beginning to end.
