★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Normally this would be a 5-star rating. We came here from deep inside Cilento because of the fact that this is a long standing cooperative, and I appreciate cooperative work a lot, and then also because they provide organically farmed food in their restaurant plus high quality olive oil.
And indeed the food in the restaurant was excellent, the olive oil (you get a free tasting when you are seated at a table) is outstanding.
But, and here comes the big but, the woman who managed our table was in such a bad temper and mood, that it literally cut our joy of staying there in half. I have done a similar job for a long time and I know some days it is hard to keep up, but she was really letting her mood out on us and in the end we left frustrated despite having spent over 100€ in total and having eaten really really well.
Maybe, if it's really not your day, better call in sick than coming to work and destroying your customers joy so badly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very typical restaurant, in the heart of the Cilento valley, proposing some of the best know products of the areas, such as the local chickpeas, the home made long fusilli, and the famous wild boar meat. Service is esencial but polite, all dishes are simple and tasty, albeit some could find the amount of oil a bit excessive. Prices are very reasonable. I recommend the local pasta with chickpeas. Not something you ll easily find elsewhere
