★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located by river estuary with views to mountains, fantastic seafood. Cocktail terrace bar if you just want a drink or snack. Open all day from breakfast to dinner. Giuseppe makes everyone feel special and welcome, very proffessional.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are few places that capture the essence of dining on the Italian coast better than Ciccio. Fresh seafood, prepared classically like it should be. Respect for the products. Setting with sea and "Marble Mountains" a wonder. Service attentive but not intrusive. I've been coming since the 70's and it's a credit to staff and family that in this former fishing village, a treasure like Ciccio thrives.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I loved this place. I was traveling alone and it was recommended by a gentleman that worked at the locanda I was staying in.
The staff is very friendly, the food is terrific, the wine delish, and I was too full for dessert, but the waiter offered me some fruits for free saying he couldn't let me leave without anything! I thought it was cute and a lovely touch. 100% recommend it to everyone visiting or local.

I had the worst experience in my life with this restaurant. ?
My self and two friends ladies we booked a table at the Ciccio Restaurant. At the entrance, long waiting, at the table waiters very rude and pretending that they doesn’t understand what we want to order, they didn’t recommend any drinks or food to go for it, which in my opinion is always good for the business, food was worse than fast food, oily or not cooked at standards, at the end surprise, surprise....we have been charged double money for what we have ordered and the dishes that we have eaten.
Don’t recommend at all. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 0 Stars for this Restaurant. Had been there on evening for dinner. Restaurant wasn't full. We waited good 50 minutes for our food. The Spaghetti Vongole was 15 Euros for 7 sea shells. The Spaghetti were undercooked (yes I know what al dente means... still undercooked and hard inside!). It was very loud, because the restaurant's front is the main street of harbor and tourism area.
When we ordered our food, we were asked for wine. I said i look into the wine menu and will order some in a minute. Never was asked for it again.
People (also not italian, if this makes a difference in this restaurant) on the table left to us have been scamed by 10 Euros and they had to wait 20 minutes for the ordered Espresso.
The Service in the Restaurant is an desaster. Dont go there (maybe go there if you are italian?).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent restaurant with excellent service. This is the best place to have fresh fish in La Spezia area. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and having breakfast in the garden terrace is a pleasent experience. Great ice cream as well.

1 bottle of water, 1 bottle of Albarola (Lunae), 2 warm starters (vongole) , 2 mains (hummer pasta and baby calamari taglioni) for 95 euro in the context of that upscale restaurant : happy to go back again.
